When you say "at the wall" you mean using an external watt meter? Here's a pic: Here's an update, I upgraded to latest firmware 2.5.57 and tried some more undervolting. At 0.59, some chips refused to start working, or would turn off after half an hour. So I just used 0.6, bumped up the fans to 100% and let it run for a few hours, then took pictures of the watt meter. Temp Front / Back T,B 28 °C / 40,39 °C Fan Speed 100 Start Voltage 0.6 / 0.6 / 0.6 / 0.6 Max Voltage 0.6 Max Watts 120 / 120 / 120 / 120
Hardware Version SP20E Jackson FW Version 2.5.57 CGMiner Version cgminer4.7.0
754.63 GH/s
5 min GH/s 869.91386
That's 321.7 watts, at the meter. Using the first GH/s number I get 0.4263016312630031 watts / ghs. Using the 5 min number (which changes often) I get 0.3698067300594567 watts / ghs The asic page reports the following: LOOP[0] ON TO:0 (w:403) 0: DC2DC/1/:[vlt1:593 vlt2:597(DCl:794 Tl:794 Ul:597) 29W 48A 35c] ASIC:[ 85c (125c) 440hz(BL: 440) 180 (E:193) F:0 L:0] 1: DC2DC/1/:[vlt1:591 vlt2:597(DCl:794 Tl:794 Ul:597) 34W 57A 41c] ASIC:[ 85c (125c) 510hz(BL: 510) 223 (E:193) F:0 L:0] LOOP[1] ON TO:0 (w:432) 2: DC2DC/1/:[vlt1:593 vlt2:597(DCl:794 Tl:794 Ul:597) 33W 55A 44c] ASIC:[ 85c (125c) 500hz(BL: 500) 207 (E:193) F:0 L:0] 3: DC2DC/1/:[vlt1:595 vlt2:597(DCl:794 Tl:794 Ul:597) 34W 58A 45c] ASIC:[ 85c (125c) 510hz(BL: 510) 225 (E:193) F:0 L:0] LOOP[2] ON TO:0 (w:343) 4: DC2DC/1/:[vlt1:593 vlt2:597(DCl:794 Tl:794 Ul:597) 32W 54A 36c] ASIC:[ 85c (125c) 480hz(BL: 480) 167 (E:193) F:0 L:0] 5: DC2DC/1/:[vlt1:593 vlt2:597(DCl:794 Tl:794 Ul:597) 30W 50A 38c] ASIC:[ 85c (125c) 450hz(BL: 450) 176 (E:193) F:0 L:0] LOOP[3] ON TO:0 (w:427) 6: DC2DC/1/:[vlt1:595 vlt2:597(DCl:794 Tl:794 Ul:597) 34W 58A 42c] ASIC:[ 85c (125c) 500hz(BL: 500) 218 (E:193) F:0 L:0] 7: DC2DC/1/:[vlt1:593 vlt2:597(DCl:794 Tl:794 Ul:597) 35W 59A 44c] ASIC:[ 85c (125c) 520hz(BL: 520) 209 (E:193) F:0 L:0]

All I need now is for Santa to take me to the North Pole and we'll see how much this thing can crank out. My second 1000 watt PSU is on stand by, I may do an overclock (turbo) test later and see how high I can get this time.

he did new firmware and tried keeping it cooler with high fan. I have found if you cool the gear down in a cold room watts drop a lot. I am running 6 in my attached garage and room is 86-90f .. when I open the back door of the garage and drop temps by 10f watts drop a lot. Getting under .4 watts a gh with a cold room heavy underclock high fan is possible. I no longer make wagers but I think the sp20 will beat the s-5 on min. watts per gh. I also think the s-5 will be able to under clock into a very quiet setting that beats the sp20. I can get the sp20 to do a fan at 10 in a colder room. I have 1 unit in a colder room . gets 480 watts for 1028gh = .467 per gh uses a plat seasonic 760 watter.

But he's not running it in a cold room. His intake is around 30c.

How did you go from 427 watts @ .625 volts to 321 watts @ .6 volts???
I just changed the volts on the settings page. I set the fan to 20% and rebooted it. It's now only consuming 309 watts at 0.6 volts hashing 752.7 GH/s. 0.41052212 watts / GH/s. Let me take a picture of my current setup. I will keep it at 20% during the night, as the miner is near the bedroom.

Yeah, it's getting hotter. But I can live with that. Veggy Crate used to house a motherboard with 5 slots, 5 risers, and 5 GPUs. Or rather there were two crates stacked on top of each other. I have pics in another thread. I still have the risers, even some brand new ones and several of the GPUs. Sapphire 270X. Can't seem to sell them unless I drop the price to half or something.

I liked the Veggie Cart. I think a SP31 can fit on top of the veggie cart. Here is the ASICs page, I'll take a screen cap: Current reading on watt meter: 307.8 watts In case you're not aware, my entire house is on 240 volts. That may be a factor.

Your watt meter is wrong. Look at the board wattage: 81+85+81+89 = 336 Wall watt meter: 307 Your watt meter is reading lower wattage than the boards (which are after the power supply losses). In other words, your PSU is 110% efficient. I need to get me a lot of those PSUs!!!

The OMNI units are generally pretty well calibrated .. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V9sqIpO__TMYou can test it with marked bulbs .. as in the youtube movie above and apply corrections if necessary.

Using this pool: @wh00per, I'll try that marked bulbs technique. I have another meter with my brother, he uses it to check on his appliances. However, I don't think all bulbs read as they say on the label. They are always off by a few percent and I'll have to check if they are consistent. I replaced all my incandescent bulbs with compact flors, and then replaced those CFLs with LEDs.
