I want an android alarm clock app that also shows the Bitcoin price

Like most people I have a tablet that I never use except when I go on an airplane.

So, instead of letting it sit in a drawer somewhere I use it as my alarm clock. I have it set up next to my bed with a clock and it wakes me up in the morning with the ability to hit snooze or dismiss.

What would be even better is if when I wake up in the morning I hit dismiss and look at my clock and see the price of bitcoin below the time.

Not that I would pay a lot for this, I think it would be cool and I imagine it would be a simple app to write.

That's a good idea, waking up and seeing what's up with BTC price. You would need someone who knows how to code apps though, I'm not sure myself if you can get that done with your typical alarm app. Easiest way is just leaving whatever site you use open and refresh when you wake up. Your idea got me interested so if I find something else I'll edit this.

Well, if that's the case, then why not take it further and have an alarm if the price hits X$?
In case it drops or rises and you are sleeping.

My iphone is jail broken so I have a app that when the alarm goes off, siri also says to me the weather. Would be sweet if she told me the BTC price too.

Sounds like a good idea to me. I have been looking for decent alarm apps on the store myself and have yet to find one.
