BFL - Non ASIC Current Orders

Just asking the community,
 
If you have placed an order for a Single or a MR and waiting in line without being able to buy the new ASIC. What would you want BFL to do ?

I was supposed to receive my other 5 FPGA Singles 2 weeks ago (I have one already). I want them delivered as I can mine on them for two months or so and make 700-800 and just ship them back for the trade-in just before the ASICs ship. I was specifically told by BFL that I could do this. I'm now trying to get BFL to provide me with a delivery estimate since they're "shipping 50 a day". I did however just pay yesterday with bank transfer for 6 BitForce SC Singles. So this may not be what you're asking but regardless that's what I personally am doing.

Wait, they allowed you to trade up 2:1 +$101???  When did that policy change happen?

yes, those two units was not delivered, so I decided to switch to one new unit in hope that I should be first one in the line,  if paid for it in April.

Because I am exchanging my MiniRig for SC Singles, the MiniRig order was placed in April, however 2 weeks now they still have not replied to my request, yet on the forum confirmed that the exchange is possible.

I would like my SC Singles to be classed as ordered in April.

Hahaha, this ought to be good, classing all FPGA later orders as first in line for ASIC.

This all could have been averted if the community just told BFL to F off and that no one would order until the WHOLE thing was spelled out.

Of course we know someone would have just snuck in, but it would have been cool to see a community truly come together beyond greed.

Oh well, I really hope it all works itself out.

BFL, I have been patiently emailing office@butterflylabs.com since June 24th to request this sort of order conversion. Please reply to my emails that have the subject, "Conversion of BFL Singles pre-orders into a refund or SC Singles", originally sent on the 24th (all follow up emails have the same subject for clarity). I understand you are very busy and would greatly appreciate a reply this week. Cheers.

can you elaborate little bit, mote how it resolved, did you get order number. we are in the same boat, I paid difference but still did not get any confirmation from BFL. if you are not comfortable posting it public, please PM me.

That would never happen.  To a lot of people greed is more important  then family, friends, health. Just look how corrupt everything is. I'm middle class which is called "the working poor" , so I'm allowed to say these things. The funny part about all this is greedy people aren't even aware they are greedy. They've had their head up their ass for so long they don't realize it.
