I'd love to know how we can get accounting in the blockchain. Like, how could you possibly get business transactions into the blockchain?

if your supplier accepts bitcoin for the products, your staff accept bitcoin for salaries and customer buy the products with bitcoin, then it can be very easy to: link supplier expenses to a bitcoin address just by showing the address you paid them link employee expenses to a bitcoin address just by showing the address you paid them link customer spending to a bitcoin address just by showing the address that hoards the incomes from customer transactions. unlike current accounting systems where people not only need to make spreadsheets and then keep receipts and invoices for 5+ years. if every transaction was bitcoin related you simply store a spreadsheet of addresses

I'd love to know how most of this stuff can be implemented or built onto the blockhain. I keep hearing about all the possibilities but haven't read anything that explains how most of this stuff is possible.

The thing I'm looking forward to most is democracy on the blockchain. It's obviously a long way off, but voting on political issues directly via a distributed network.

Spam control (micro-payments for posting) Could a 51% attack mess with many of these records? For example, changing the ownership of licenses, Trademarks, property, etc. Perhaps sidechains will be useful, since the BTC network is secure, but it seems like almost all alternative chains would have little true security.

I'd love to know how most of this stuff can be implemented or built onto the blockhain. I keep hearing about all the possibilities but haven't read anything that explains how most of this stuff is possible. Working on it. It's not that hard really, just have to link their accounting software... I mean it's regular business software just linked together. Why have multiple instances of Receipts, Records, etc when it can be secure on a distributed Blockchain for all to check out as authorized. Mix Accounting Interface, Open Transactions, Bitmessage and a Blockchain, walla, Decentralized accounting; pay to process your records on the Blockchain, if the customer wants a receipt... they can have it, government wants to audit the books? sure, here's the guest key to our datablock, no papers, no fuss, no bs, just balancing the books one entry at a time. Hey Thanks for posting, wow, that is an awesome list. A lot of things to play with yet on the horizon.... this is going to be fun.

Too tire to go into greater/better detail, but the I easily envision an accounting system working for all those involved.

Not sure how this could be done because in order to get people for maintaining the ledger you will need to reward them. It will be difficult when it comes to permits, certificates and other public records One way to have this done is to have these ledgers backed by crypto. For example this would apply towards commodities. Will be checking this thread to see what solution the community can think of
