Gun control is quickly approaching an era of practial irrelvance.  As copyright faced it's endgame during the last decade, centralized mass manufacturing faces it's own moment in this decade.  If these designs work, new single shot weapons will be able to be produced without a machinist.

Genius.

+1   I look forward to playing with this as soon as I get my new printer up and running here.

Can you print bullets ?

The hardest part about making your own bullets is getting the primers.

Can you print bullets ?

Don't need too, I can recycle the cases of fired rounds a hundred times, and the bullets themselves can still be made of lead ball.  It's not like this kind of thing is ever going to be accurate enough to justify a precise, jacket bullet.

Interesting read. Now for the price of a machine-gun you can have your own machine-gun factory. Well, maybe a zip gun factory. There is a hackerspace here in Madison with a 3-D printer. I think it's time to take the "how to" class.

Oh my. If only it were illegal for that law abiding citizen to carry a gun and that shooter to carry a gun, the shooting would not have happened.

It makes me sick the extent that media outlets will go to push the UN's anti-firearm policies...

Makes me even sicker when retarded people actually believe what they see on MSM.
If they arent going to require a IQ test to watch tv, they should require one to post comments to prevent stupid people from polluting the net, with their inability to think for themselves; only able to spew the same talking pieces they hear from other retards or the news.

Good God!  168 yards!  With a handgun!  I'm calling bullsh*t.  That's a football field and a half.  At that distance it would have been difficult for an adult with 20/20 vision to determine which one was the cop!   (excepting, of course, that one assumes that the one next to the cop car is the cop.)  That distance is a respectable rifle shot.

Agreed, that's one hell of a shot... He may be over-stating the distance. Wink

IF he were aiming where his shots landed.

I apologize if this is not the implication intended, but you don't think he might have been aiming at the other side of the tree, do you?

Stacy's first shot struck the perp's thigh, supposedly. It's possible he was aiming for his head or COM. Depending on the perp's body angle to Stacy he might have felt confident that firing at that range would hit some part of his body, regardless of vitality, and if not, it was clear enough downrange to risk it.

Ahh. Still, hell of a shot to even hit him at all at that range.

Wow, I would have moved up on him before shooting even if it were 168 ft. What did he have I wonder. One of those bolt action silhouette target guns?
