U have to restart ur windows...than it should be working again...

if that doesn't help, try to start the Wallet, with internet connection offline and switch connection back on, after its running,
that prevents interfering of possible Bittrex or Bleutrade API issues/hickups ...

if this all doesn't help, please provide the Errormessage for further investigation.

Dev i have a problem with my wallet it is constantly crashing.
This application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.

I was having the same problem..

The only way I got to solve the issue as the following:

1 - Uninstall all C++ runtimes from Windows (windows will re-install the ones you need)
2 - backup wallet.dat
3 - clean up the europecoin directory and let the chain sync from the beginning (this takes quite some time and a couple of wallet restarts when things hang for some time)
Note that you will still have the runtime error, but if you notice wallet runs ok dispite the error message.
4 - copy your backed up walled.dat back into europecoin folder
5 - start wallet and let it rescan the blockchain.
6 - at this point I still had some runtime errors appearing but wallet worked fine as long as I didn't clicked "OK" on the popup.
7 - Magically a few days ago I no longer have the problem anymore..

yes, runtimes issues, often occur on 32bit/64bit mixed systems,
your description describes pretty well how to deal with it

Not quite from scratch but managed to fix my wallet to run without errors but it wont stake.

some points (just to make sure):

1) your coins have to mature one week
2) your wallet has to have  a password· but has to be unlocked

if this is the case please check following

1) hover your mouse over the stakingicon (right bottom) and read the tooltip thats popping up
2) go to the debug Konsole and type "getstakinginfo"

and post the results here for further investigation,
i am sure we'll get this going, there have been no issues since release

Oh yeah, you are damn right, time for some updates :-)

1) Cloudstaking Wallet
Wallet upgrade goes endless slower, then expected, because of some personal issues of the developer.
But regardless of that, i am taking care that it does not stuck. I always make sure, Europecoin maintains independence
from third party issues, this project is organiosed, not to go bust, if just one wheel goes missing. We always fly with spare-parts on board 
(anyway he will be ok shortly. If not, i already have a plan B in place, just in case)

2) Uberpay payment service and Android multiwallet with Shapeshift integration
This task runs much smoother, the wallet is done, tested and ready to deploy, the needed electrumserver is already in progress.
Release is just a matter of days.

3) Europecoin Wallet V2 prerelease has an update and goes into BETA (sourcecode)

i skip the compiling for now, because all released wallets are still compatible
and this version will have a lifespan of less then a month.

Because i think there are some new users around  (acording to the exchange and Twitter movements)
i will write some words about my vision here from time  to time.


As stated on the website:

In this changing world, one day, even people presently in power, will have questions. They usually ask "experts" around them.
These "experts" are mostly lobbying for paying corporations. That's, why we would like to be around them too.

Goal of the currency is to transport the message to the people and to demonstrate the power of decentralization,
by being a useful currency for daily payment for everybody.

If you establish a currency and not pay attention to the society, that builds around it, i am certain, you may not achieve too much advancement.
The question is less how do you want to live in future, because you could think "if i am born in an unbalanced society anyway, i just want to become one, of the rich ones".
The question is more about, how do you want your children to live? Is the answer really the same one?
Or would you wish them to live in a better and happier society AND to be prospering at the same time.

I am NOT here, to wait until the day, Europecoin is  worth enough to buy BTC.  I would have been able to sell at 750 sat anyway (not that bad with over 5 million coins).
I still keep buying and i will continue, until there are enough holders, that think the same (there are already many of them). People, that buy and advance the currency
and that build and educate the society around it, until we don't exchange, but use the currency everywhere and every day. That's what i stand for, with my NAME,
that i openly provide everywhere.
I have, from 3 years working as a social-media educator, for members of the European Parliament, the connections, the knowledge and the resources to do so and that's what i do.

Why did i hold back with good news and why will I release them today?

1) Its not only big news, its also a big witepaper and i nearly needed 2-3 weeks to get through it, to understand enough, to tell you about everything.
(I can't grasp, how anybody could have done all that work, i have discovered so far, just mind-blowing)

2) there has been so much going on recently, that i wanted to not only prevent wasting momentum (of course also the case), but even more,
not to waste developers dedication. I sometimes feel, our enthusiasm and aim for progress may otherwise end up in some kind mass-news-consuming.

But taken into account, that some, of our efforts (especially the cloud staking feature) are not advancing as fast as i have been promised
and have been promising YOU, holding back, has been a bright decision and on the same time plain stupid in terms of sitting here and waiting ...
That's why i am currently writing the announcement and will publish everything in the next few hours.

During the time spent researching and preparing these proposals to move forward into 2015, as well as through a surprisingly extensive professional network outside of bitcointalk I very quickly came to know of the impending SEC crackdown on downright fraudulent misrepresentations regarding securities, equity, dividends and investment.
