so just in case im lazy to calculate can ya help me find out the amount of bonus stakerate?

wasnt ERC old POS at 15% a year

and POS new will be 0.5%-5% a year
and the first 3 weeks bonus stakerate are 10% a year?

in that case it would be better stake now before the bonus stakerate starts?

but i guess i did calculate something wrong

please give me the real numbers

for a POS income minmaxer who wana know if opening the wallet nor or in bonus POS stage is the better bang for ur coin age

The bonusstakerate begins from Block 820000!

The rest is here:
VPOS VARIANCE STAKING REWARDS

- 1week  => 0.5%
- 2weeks => 1%
- 3weeks => 1%
- 4weeks => 1.5%
- 5weeks  => 1.5%
- 6weeks => 3%
- 8weeks++ => 5%

Total coins are 98 000 000

u didnt answer the question...

is staking now or in 3 weeks bonus stage better?
i would say now because 15% is more than 10%

but as i said maybe i miss some part for calculations
and for that i seek the answer

Did anyone have thip problem with the wallet returning
"EXCEPTION: St13runtime_error
CDB():can't open database file wallet.dat, error -30974"

I deleted all files (except wallet.dat), created the new .conf file and re-sync, but the same error appears.
It happens at the beginning with some 2.5-3% of the sync being done .

I used the nodes from the OP.

And I'm sorry if I'm asking a question that's been already answered, I tried to scroll through the thread , but it's so full of annoying pictures...

sorry for the pictures, maybe i crossed some line, regarding the amound of pictures, i have to confess.
Though i love it, i will try so keep this in a reasonable amount in future. Wink

to your problem, sounds you have some database incompatibility,
here is a workaround, that should do the job:

1) please backup your wallet.dat somewhere else
2) delete EVERYTHING INCLUDING wallet.dat from you data folder
3) reinstall the current version of our wallet
4) place this Bootstrap in your data folder:
http://www.europecoin.eu.org/europecoin-wallet-download/category/1-europecoin-wallet
5) start the wallet and wait till sync is done (a new wallet.dat is created)
6) import your previous wallet.dat, pray it was an incompatibility and not a corrupted wallet.dat
7) if import doesn’t work, try to simply shut down the wallet and to replace the wallet.dat and start again

hope that helped
keep me up to date

I need to do what now?

confused? Quite possible after all that trouble.
You may enjoy reading this thriller later and just do following Wink

first try the  simple way
1) delete the peers.dat and the europecoin.conf, backup you wallet.dat
2) create a new .conf with the nodes from our op
3) upgrade and start syncing
4) check if your blocks are in sync with:
https://bitnodes.net/node/104-255-33-55/

if yes, then you are fine, if blocks don’t match:

1) delete everything, but wallet.dat and place this bootstrap in your folder:
http://www.europecoin.eu.org/europecoin-wallet-download/category/1-europecoin-wallet

and then continue with step 2

have fun

Better still, after backing up your present wallet, run
Code:
dumpprivkey <ERCaddress>
in your wallet console or
Code:
europecoind dumpprivkey <ERCaddress>
on terminal/command prompt (in the proper directory, i.e. where europecoind[.exe] resides) for EACH ERC address you own.
Take note of the privkey and then proceed with the upgrade as Mathias said. After full sync, you can just import your old address(es) in the new wallet using
Code:
importprivkey <ERCprivkey> [label]
in your wallet console or
Code:
europecoind importprivkey <ERCprivkey> [label]
on terminal/command prompt (in the proper directory, i.e. where europecoind[.exe] resides) for EACH ERC address you exported private key(s).

I asked Alberto our developer, he is a REALLY busy man, but he will try tomorrow.
Don’t kill him if its a day longer he isn’t that kind of guy, who forgets about things like that
and he will provide a very nice explanation for sure

error when you close, is somehow strange, but if it  stays like this,
it doesn’t prevent it from working i guess.

But anyway if you like to try to get rid of this, try two things

First (easy) try:
open the Debug  Console, type repair wallet, restart

if this doesn’t help:
backup your wallet.dat
export your private keys as described here:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=901605.msg13317317#msg13317317
shut down your wallet, delete the wallet.dat
open it again (new wallet.dat will be created)
import your private keys
restart the wallet
pray

hope that helps
