Hope it's a simple problem..

F.Y.I, i restarted everything to try with a cleaned start PC, but i got the same error.

Because i couldn't get my wallet running again.
I tried to rebuild from scratch in 2 ways:
1) with only wallet.dat & europecoin.conf with the connect options
2) with wallet.dat & europecoin.conf & the bootstrap.dat

Both times it got stuck at 254837.

I think i'll wait again for the a new windows wallet. 

I'm a littlebit dissapointed, because it worked fine for a fews days in a row, untill my wallet crashed.

I'm kind of in the same situation. I've enjoyed a few days of staking, then my wallet crashed.

Currently i am trying the following:

1) Used the latest install package and install in a different location
2) Trying to sync the latest install package (not yet succceeded)
3) When sync is succesfull i will copy all files except wallet.dat to
my old installation. Don't know if it helps, but first i the new installed wallet from the install package must be synced
before i move on.

the installer place a europecoin.conf
if u dont see it then something went wrong
maybe the path installer install chain towards and the path ur wallet uses are not the same

on windows it should be in both cases %appdata%/europecoin/

yes do a deinstall and a clean fresh install first, thats correct.

P.S. Helmut is right, now where the wallet itself is working ,we
began to optimize, cleanup and adjust things in 2.025 and make it capabel to
deal with the chains history. We also have already set our roadmap for the further development,
witch will be highly focused on core modernisation to be able to keep up with current technologies.

Federated Blockchains will not cause a wallet suffering from feature overkill,
because its planned to not touch the coins core and to run a seperated process.
A-pro-pos federated chain i am needing another day to bring the stuff in order to be easy to understand,
but members of the initiative already got a preview, with the first four parts of my paper, to let them know about my progress.

I have used the installer also, after my wallet crashed and i was unable to open it.

Reporting back for anyone who is interested.

It took a while, but finally (after approx 6 hours or so, the chain
is moving again).

I did an uninstall and removed alle the info from the registry. (not sure whether it was required, but it seems to have helped my case).


It is now nearly synced (a few hours behind).

So it's looking better now.

Stuck 24 hours on 921,535
From installer with new fresh empty wallet.dat
Closed and then, reopened for another stuck 24 hours.

Then, the impossible happened

I am now synced.

When I put my current wallet in place of the empty one,
it would not show my coin even with a -repairwallet.
But when I put my backup copy in , they popped right up.

And... now that my wallet is synced a ton of old blocks just staked.

OK Steve done everything you said but again stuck at the same block 254837

Same here - stuck at the same block 254837 - but, I did not use installer
because I cannot get it to download. I tried sync from scratch and with bootstrap

Installed and currently stuck on block 921535 - going to let it run overnight

I have used the installer also, after my wallet crashed and i was unable to open it.

I also got stuck on 921535 (for a few hours now).

Reporting back for anyone who is interested.

It took a while, but finally (after approx 6 hours or so, the chain
is moving again).

I did an uninstall and removed alle the info from the registry. (not sure whether it was required, but it seems to have helped my case).


It is now nearly synced (a few hours behind).

So it's looking better now.

Reporting back again with some good news this time!

I am also synced again (12 connections). Up-and-running and above all, also staking.

Hope the rest will follow, so we can keep this train running!

Thank you for creating the installer - once I was finally able to
download it through slack, it went fairly well with just 2 days wait
for the final 5000 blocks
