it would allow to use the android wallet backup on a pc based wallet and use a backup of the multibit based wallet on the android wallet

also i would love a tool that help me extract private keys with balance from the backups

Lightwallet is a good proposal, i will try to get my hands on this and yes,
the new wallet is based on the latest Schildbach wallet.

The most important achievement of this Release (from the whats-next standpoint)
is having a decent HODL europecoin.js version, to build things upon.
This is making progress that much easier

Onde question about the Android wallet. In the description it is mentioned "Term Deposit Soft-Cold-Storage with 4% interest".

This 4% is a real 4% independent of the time of the deposit, or you just simplified the description but the rules are the same as the full wallet?
