Time for a summary of the week



Podcast,

i messed one up by trying to edit it,  now after a busy week with Brussels, i will
record a new one with general updates, Europecoin, Financecloud and Brussels activity.

Brussels

I told you before, that i was attended to join an advisor team for the European Commission.

Later the leadership of this organization broke down. Given that this team was already about to get approval from the Commission
and given that, Europecoin having a say in direct contact with the EU Commission is quite a great opportunity, i refused to give up.
and this was what kept me quite busy last week. But the effort was worth it.

I got all the documents, reorganized and took over.
Now we are in the approval process, which will keep me busy till Sunday.
Then everything will be an place and i can return to "daily schedule" .

Due to the investor having to attend something we switchbed to videoconferencing and we are preparing the proposal for his customers

Yes and it still does, i am having a 14 hours workday till Monday, but its worth it.
And even in case of non approval, (i feel we will get it) it would have been a win.
Because i was able to get in touch with plenty of really cool people.
Networks grow and they are getting stronger on every action.
There are so many brothers in mind out there and we are very committed to network with them.

Update

Final phase of getting the papers ready for the EUROPEAN COMMISSIONS advisor team.
Wish me some luck. Our podcast was the activity, that has been delayed more than once,
due to this unexpected opportunity.
To give a retrospective view about the last two weeks i finally managed to upload a fresh podcast.
(Youtube upload says 3 hours left, then i will post it here)

Monday we will have the papers delivered to the European Commission and we will be able
to return to easy and predictable task management.

Given that the work around FINANCECLOUD API did not stop,
there will be some reporting about that next week

There are some groups out there shilling our coin.

Correct representation of our involvement in advising the European Union:

The EU likes to have an advisor group and reaches out to consultants, to form these groups.
These Groups will apply in competition and the EU will choose one of them.

One consultant reached out to me and i now helped him to find the people we need,

Update


1) Advisor Group

Though we  managed, to gather a pretty nice team, the group, that was resposible for the technical description, did not manage to complete in time.
So this time we did not manage to apply as a group. As you may have noticed, we joined as a "last-minute-option" team and this outcome has been likely from beginning
Did i waste my time with that? No! This was a first opportunity, to make an offer to the EU Commission. Our work and our appearence opened some doors


- We are now in the list, to join future request (there are already some) and we will be able, to make an offer
- i now have built a network ańd the infrastructure, to apply much faster next time
- i have now gained enough experience and have a template like blueprint, about how to organize such a team

So next time we will have to use less resources and will be able to respond faster and more professional.


My idea, how to prepare and improve for the next time:
I will use the contacts, i gained during this week, to maintain a database of experts, together with already filled CV's, papers and skillsets,
to be able to quickly find and  submit the best matching team members for any usecase to come.
Next time, we will be able, to react in a matter of hours, instead of weeks.

now, after having collected some experience, lets get back to our development path:



2) FOREXchain

yesterday we completed our actionplan for the fundraising / ICO for FOREXchain.
We agreed to a 100 000€ angel financing, to be able to ensure proper legal compliance and a decent marketing for this effort. You can expect us, to go public in ~ eight weeks.
At that time, we will go public with an ICO that will:


- be signed and confirmed by our official regulation authorities (BAFIN)
- have an already working demo of the core function, we will build into the FINANCECLOUD API


Clarification:
This fundraising is related to the FOREXchain function inside of The FINANCECLOUD API.
It will fund the development of a distributed computing cloud via blockchain, that will host the already completed A.I. trading function and the gateway to FIAT.



3) Financecloud Device

I am having an appointment with Olaf today, to get up to date with our hardware development.

Results from lessons learned, during the attempt to join advisor teams in Brussels:







Today, contacted every expert, i have gathered over the last two weeks.
I thanked them for their efforts and asked them to stick with us for the next project and explained my plan.
They are all staying with us!

I ensured, to be listed in the EU tender-list, to know about new projects early.

Now i am building a group management system for expert teams,
to be better prepared on the next EU request and have already built extended user profil fields on Europecoin.eu.org.
and i am now adding publishing and document management.

Next time, we will see a request, we will have all the people and their papers already in place.


also today:
I had, as mentioned before, a longer meeting with Olaf
(HARDWARE DEVELOPER for FINANCECLOUD API DEVICE)
Our own circuit board is almost done. Just waiting for some data sheds from processor manufacturers,
and they are a bit slow on communication. In three weeks, Olaf will return from his lab from Portugal
and will be here in Germany for about four month, to finalize the device.

Updates and fresh podcast





WATCH IT


We implemented our Expertgroup Management Platform as promised.
Its now tested and working, we will do some final tweaks, coming week.

Early supporters will have some deja-vue feeling when checking out this platform,
because we had this in mind from beginning. But now we are able to get enough attention and to make this active and alive.





Also this week, we managed to progress some negotiations to fund the FOREXchain ICO
and to notify the BAFIN (German regulation), to audit, sign and verify our concept.

Last but not least, we have received last missing data from CPU manufacturer, to finish the FINANCECLOUD API DEVICE
circuit-board. So in three weeks, Olaf will travel here to Germany and will stay about two/three month and will finalize our hardware product.

Then we will produce the first reference  device series  for our developers

Small update






My path to enlightenment:
We have managed to understand and to chose the technology
for the FINANCECLOUD API  data transport (databus)

and we are already having our hands on:
- it is fully decentralized
- easy ERC blockchain authentication to O-auth bridge
- internet independent via low energy mesh network option (FinanceCloud API DEVICE)
- offline mode buffer

for the technicals:
Its a WEBRTC protocol using MERKLE DAG replicated by SCUTTLEBUTT LOGS (GOSSIP)  (also known as hyperlog)  
optional via TCP+mDNS (Bonjour) or BlueTooth LE MESH

it has already a Blockstack ready, Github-Style authentication mechanism, that is easily usable for Blockchain based authentications.
Everything in elegant, pure node.js

This can be considered as an milestone,
because this concept solved most of the missing parts in our concept.

The timing turns out, to be perfectly in line with our needs:
In two weeks Olaf will arrive here in Germany, to spend ~ 3 Month and finalize the first production line of our
FinanceCloud API Device.
