"The most famous ETF filing of them all is the Winklevoss Bitcoin Trust (ticker-to-be: COIN). Any time a word is changed in the filing, it gets national media attention."

 Cheesy

"There is still doubt, however, that the SEC will approve the first-ever virtual asset ETF. The longer it sits in registration, the less likely it is to launch."

i dont think so. some etf take years and we are just waiting 1 year or so. be patient.

The Winkle bros got a super-heavyweight attorney that specializes in this sort of thing on the case and I'm sure she knows her way around the regulatory henhouse, not to mention all the right people needed to make something like this happen. Furthermore, once she does bring it into the fold, her status as the engineer will offer more than enough credibility for other bigwigs to legitimately want a piece of the action - and then all their people and so on.
