The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

I also warning you shouldn't use it. Why you can buy bitgold by bitcoin but can't withdraw bitcoin?

My opinion: bitgold = bitcoin <---> gold.

Hi guys,

Am I right what:

1) https://www.amagimetals.com
2) https://veldtgold.com

Are dead?

I had extremely bad experience with first and very good with second. Smth like around 4 months ago.

https://www.coaex.com - maybe good, if you like IGR

I prefer Suisse and Pandas - so first two were the choice.

Comments are welcome

I think bitgold allows you to buy virtual gold with Bitcoins or try browsing some listings on cryptothrift. If you can't still find one, you can just exchange your BTC to fiat and use fiat to buy gold Wink

I believe they are dead. Just go to schiffgold imo. Super reputable, great customer service, and they price match any competitors.

If one can not confer upon another a right which he does not himself first possess, by what means does the state derive the right to engage in behaviors from which the public is prohibited?

And why your design is not original IGR?

Actually, our design is the original IGR Smiley
These blue bars are editions before 2014 and probably other people/companies (incl. Apmex) are selling circulated gold/old stocks. IGR stopped producing blue cards in October, 2014.
As you can see from the official Istanbul Gold Refinery website (http://www.iar.com.tr), the color theme and assay card designs has completely changed and we have selling beige/gray assay card designs, which are 2015 editions. We directly sell brand new editions of gold and silver from the mint with a limited amount of stock and we are the only company that sell the latest original 2015 editions.

We had been selling Nadir Metal, as well but they are nowadays in transition stage for their new design and we stopped featuring them for a short time.

There is an Amagi metals thread on this site...there have been multiple reports from members who have placed orders and have never received what they paid for, or have simply requested refunds (if possible).

Its a shame really, since many of us really wanted to support any company who accepts BTC as a form of payment.

Among all the websites promoting sales of gold for bitcoin, many have turned out to be scamming. Is there a list with the honest ones? I was thinking of creating one.

I'm working on a relevant project. Bitcoin for gold in the mail. Orderbook and escrow service. Very strong rep.

Still in the bootstrapping phase trying to get it off the ground. But any interest would be appreciated.

That comes as a surprise to me, I've actually ordered from them a few times with BitCoin and always got what I paid for. Not trying to advertise for them but they never did me wrong. I will however admit to trying to advertise for myself Smiley I've still got a few 1/2 oz bars, a 2.5 gram bar, and a 1 oz bar collecting dust if anybody's interested, they're all sealed bars with assay cards and accompanying receipts & I'm fine with using escrow given that I'm not too well known around here.
