I am trying to figure out how to use the Kleopatra interface in Windows 7.

I have encrypted and decrypted some files, but having trouble doing signature verifications as well as some general questions. I'd like to get set up on the #bitcoin-OTC web of trust, so may have some questions there as well.

If you're familiar with most of the features and options in Kleopatra in Windows and willing to provide some tutoring via Skye & its screen-sharing feature, leave me a PM. I'd also be willing to learn a bit about the command line interface, if you think that would be helpful.

Other terms -

* Lesson will be 45 minutes or less, (if I "get it" sooner).
* Ahead of time I will send you some links & explanation of what I have done so far so you can maybe tell me what I did wrong.

If interested, please PM me. Feel free to post questions in the thread.

I have had two people PM me already. Thanks for replying!

GPG4WIN+ kleo is what i use, Personally, I NEVER touch the kleo unless for some fuckedup reason i have to..

My road to authentication on the OTC looks like this:
Open->CMD,Pastebin,Freenode
(freenode) ;;auth DingoRabiit
(Gribble) Your challenge string is:XYZXYZ(COPY)
(CMD) echo (PASTE) | gpg --clearsign
(CMD) Enter password
(CMD) Here is your signed challenge string!(COPY)
(Pastebin) PASTE->Raw(COPY)
(Freenode) ;;Verify (PASTE)
(freenode) You are now authenticated as user XYZ

We had a nice chat over Skype. Everything went fairly smoothly and he paid me more than we agreed on because we spent longer than planned. Now all one of us needs is a "bootstrap" rating  Roll Eyes

+1 IveBeenBit

I recommend asking me for a signature from my GPG key before doing a trade. I will NEVER deny such a request.
