Introduction

Bitnplay is a new and innovative Bitcoin only poker platform. We harness the potential of Blockchain technology to bring a refreshing implementation of poker to the crypto space.

Designed by players, Bitnplay’s software was built in-house to be lean and simple, keeping everything essential for a complete gaming experience.

Our mission is to offer a fair, secure and transparent global environment, where poker and Bitcoin will combine to create an unprecedented gaming experience.

We proudly invite you to the new age for poker.

Trust: Bitnplay’s Payment System

We eliminate the trust issues with existing cryptocurrency poker sites, by not storing any player funds, other than the games’ prize-pools until their completion. Our custom-made payment system processes buy-ins directly from any Bitcoin wallet. Each player is prompted to make a zero-confirmation payment that will buy him into the game of his choice. When the tournament is completed, winnings will be immediately distributed to the player’s designated payout wallet.

Receive your winnings immediately - without worrying about the safeguarding of your bankroll.

Collusion and Underage Gambling

Integrity and responsible gaming is the cornerstone of our mission. We have partnered up with online verification pioneer, Veridu, to offer the highest standards among crypto-gaming operators. Specifically, we will be using players’ online footprint for the age-verification and fraud detection purposes. Users will have to verify their account by logging-in via accounts such as Facebook, Twitter, PayPal, Amazon or Google in order to make sure that the player doesn’t have multiple Bitnplay accounts and is of legal age.

Bitnplay will maintain a strict policy against attempts to collude and exploit other players and by using industry standard collusion-detection mechanisms alongside with the aforementioned Social verification in order to offer the most transparent and trustworthy games.

Rake

With Bitcoin, we circumvent middlemen that charge a considerable amount for payment services and eliminate any chargeback risks. Moreover, because we have an in-house payment system, we also avoid the charges of third-party Bitcoin processors. We are thus able to offer substantially cheaper rake for our games, at around half the prices charged by traditional Poker operators.

Available games

SnG: Right after our launch on the 1st of February a big variety of Sit and Go tournaments will be available.

MTTs: Following the launch, we will introduce new weekly tournaments and their prize pools until our weekly schedule is formed.

Ring games: Within a short period after the launch we will begin to offer cash games, supported by our payment system for instant buy-ins and cash-outs.

Freeroll: Play for a lifetime of 100% Rakeback

We invite you to take part in our first Freeroll tournament, with the unique prize of a Partner Token which gives you the right for a lifetime of 100% Rakeback. These tokens can be bought today for 2 Bitcoin. This thread is created for discussion for matters relating to the game. To find out more about the Partner Tokens and for discussion relating to them, please use the relevant thread.

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

Hi, the site sounds good, but is there an ongoing beta, or is it just going live on February 2nd?
Will there be other free roles with cash prizes?

After looking at the Manifesto:

Why is the rake for HU games so high? It is far higher then on the non-bitcoin poker sites.
Will there be higher limits then 500nl?

It also seems that the projections of player acquisition are very unrealistic. What are the parameters used to make this graph?
Is there a Beta client/images of what the site will look like available anywhere?

Hmm.  Also, what do these guys even ask for from you?  Kind of defeats the point of an anonymous platform to provide names or whatever.

I liked the whole concept on which the website is based on, but the thing i hate about the new casinos is that they don't have any players to play with. All of the players are busy on SwC and no one care for newbies.
Best of luck
regards.

Especially considering the player base of Seals, the current largest site, where you have to provide literally zilch in the way of dox.  This Veridu thing demands LinkedIn, Paypal, Google, Twitter, etc. account information and the information you have to authorize through the app is incredibly intrusive, including authorizing this site you know diddly about to know all your contacts, your timeline, tweets, etc.

I can't see that if you take a Venn diagram of the people willing to play online poker for Bitcoin (basically the Seals playerbase at this point), and intersect that with the set of people willing to give up all this information, that you get all that many people.

I have to say that age verification shite they have going on is a real downer. I wont even bother trying them, and no im not going to make a new twitter just to trick them. If a btc casino does not honor user anonymity, then they aren't a real btc casino. So my advice is so stay away.

As a poker site, surely they need to verify your age and ensure that there are no clone accounts. Otherwise they run the risk of having colluding accounts on a table.

Thanks for pointing this out. The rake in the Manifesto is provisional (that table was created a long time ago), and you're right in that the HU rake was off in terms of the caps. As we approach the launch, we will release a detailed list of our games and the rake. The end goal is that we compete with Bitcoin poker operators in terms of rake, rather than conventional ones.

There is a short explanation in the Technical Appendix section of the Manifesto. Please have a look at Players and Marketing Expenditure under the Financial Model subsection. If you need further clarifications let us know.

I have to say that age verification shite they have going on is a real downer. I wont even bother trying them, and no im not going to make a new twitter just to trick them. If a btc casino does not honor user anonymity, then they aren't a real btc casino. So my advice is so stay away.

You don’t have to provide all of this information, but just enough for Veridu to be sure with a high enough probability that you are of legal age and most importantly, whether you already have an account with Bitnplay.

It is our belief that anonymity is not the ‘success factor’ in Bitcoin poker (the same does not necessarily apply to casinos). The Bitcoin poker sample has been small so far and therefore its player base is not representative of the market's potential. We believe that unbounded anonymity is working against the adoption of crypto-poker. You can't enjoy poker when there is a collusion-fest going on.

Contrary to what you maintain, we aim to attract more players by actively keeping our platform free of collusion.

Thanks for the feedback. We have already forwarded your issue to Veridu, to review what happened.

Please try the activation again and contact Bitnplay support if it fails.  We will check the activation of your account shortly after.

Regarding anonymity, please see above regarding why this process is important.

They're based in Costa Rica and their company's name is "Escrupulos"

I don't trust it.

edit: they do have a nice site!

The fact that we have a registered company in Costa Rica is "politics". If you take a look at the Manifesto you'll see we are very transparent about who we are.

Thanks Jamie. Ring games will be available in the 1st quarter of 2015. We will have a more specific date in the near future.

@darkmule Countermeasures are now in place for the problem you reported. Thanks again.
