Most slashdot users can get to the site without typing it into Google first, so this is not quite as dramatic as it may seem. But here's some more good news from Google Trends:

interesting country distribution Wink
for example, in US bitcoin grew more interest in Oregon state.
and in Australia alpacas is more popular than bitcoin.
thats before you can buy/sell alpacas for bitcoins, i guess ;-)
