LOL. Hi Bob

Forgive my petulance and oft-times, I fear, ill-founded criticisms, and forgive me that I have, by this time, made your eyes and head ache with my long letter. But I cannot forgo hastily the pleasure and pride of thus conversing with you.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

Buying & selling daily/daytrading.

Wake Up! buy and hold doesn't work.

In what sense? It is working for me. In a long term bull trend it is a great strategy. Do you know something we don't?

It's working fine if you're in this to lose shitloads of money.
Your second post on this forum, Dec. 5, 2013, near BTC ATH, aka "near the top":

Bears back to caves. I bought on localbitcoins in the UK near the (hopefully) bottom.

cuz thats when he was born right? no way in hell inca could have had a bitcoin before he had that specific bitcointalk account. no way in hell.

Though I can understand why, judging by his posts, you would assume he's a one-year-old, I somehow doubt it.
If you are trying your hand at sarcasm, OTOH, only n00bs and money launderers pay a premium for BTC by buying on localbitcoins.  The rest sell.
Hope I've cleared things up for you a bit Smiley

wow you're so dumb you can't even understand what i was saying...even though it is written down for you to review over and over. not really surprised.

Living in the UK localbitcoins was the only way for me to buy in early 2013. If I had discovered it slightly earlier I would be far wealthier than I am now as I bought in monthly tranches :p. C'est la vie.

I occasionally buy on there still - if the premium is very competitive (which it often is during price falls).

Anyway lambchop has revealed that despite his prolific posting he is just a regular sell-to-buy-back-lower bitcoin bull like the rest of us. Isn't that right Mr '5200 posts bashing bitcoin in less than a year' Smiley

You're confused once again.
You've discovered Bitcoin at its peak, after the tide has turned, when only you & the other suckers were buying.
To be perfectly blunt, you didn't discover Bitcoin too late--you discovered Bitcoin at simply the worst possible time evah.  In other words, had you discovered Bitcoin earlier or later, you'd 'a done better.  Oh well, or as you say, "C'est la vie!"

Explaining obvious shit to you ungrateful [and, at times, outright cranky] rabble is oft trying, but, as they say in the hallowed halls of Mises Institute and Sewage Emporium, scientia potentia est, which loosely translates to "it's all fun and games til someone loses an eye."
