I'm curious...  do people prefer sites that give out small amounts more often ( e.g. hourly instead of daily )
or sites that have larger prizes but where one may not get as often, or have as many chances at, a larger prize?

For me the gold standard is still Dailybitcoins.  They seem the perfect balance of hourly payout with a chance for a "bigger" prize.  Of course I feel like an idiot hitting refresh over and over for what is at most a nickel, and usually much, much less, but dag nab it, it's kind of fun!

Even though it is totally different, my next favorite was bitcrate, since I felt like it was a fun guessing game, but given that it is usually down, I'd say my second favorite is the scratch off ticket at DailyBTC.

So it seems to me that it is not so much if it is daily or hourly but how well implemented and consistent filled it is.  For example, even though it exacerbates the fee problem, I love the instant payouts of BitVisitor.

Speaking of fees, now that I've gotten enough to start spending I've realized that a lot of little payouts are problematic fee wise, so that would suggest fewer larger payouts.  For example the restored litecoin faucet seems to only pay out every week or so, but pays a fairly large amount, at least in LTC terms.   Wink  Thanks again for this thread.

I'm curious... What people would think about site that allow to visit it and enter the address and stuff every day, but payout accumulated bitcoins once a week? So if site gives 0.001 BTC / day, and you visit it every day from Monday to Sunday, you'll get 0.007 BTC in one transaction at the end of the week.
I'll mean less fees when spending it Smiley

Unless stated otherwise, all opinions are of my own, not FaucetBOX.com's.

Sure I would love it. But after submit, show when the amount will be paid and total accumulated amount so far.

Or send it with 0.0005 fee  Grin
It will take longer but should work. Look at recent CoinAd transactions (took several hours each)

My experience with big transactions and 0.0005 fee is it takes around 12 hours and the only pool who includes it in the block is EclipseMC

I personally use Dailybitcoins to get some extra change. So far so good.

I don't know how long it will last but coinad is also paying hourly now.

https://coinad.com/?r=1MunxpCh9TXBhbK1hDwEss2dchNHDmdxKn

for those who like to click, you can add this site to your hourly click list as well.

Speaking of, how many sites are there that let you click hourly?  I know of the two.  coinad and dailybitcoins.

Also, for those who have the time to spend,  load up and go into dragonstale and talk to all the guards
they give free coin and one run can net you some nice change but I think you can only do that once a week or so.

Have fun everyone!

Bitcrate has some coin to give out at the moment. They tweeted, "Looks like we have enough coins to keep running for a few days now Smiley "

Bitcoins.so ( the dice one ) had some to give out yesterday but it seemed to empty out fast.

I think after 24hrs there will be some that will give out gifts. Its complicated. I think you need to check
them all every time you do it. A soldier ( aka "statue" aka "guard" ) won't give out another gift until a
certain other one has given one out.

Also sometimes it might be better to not take the small gift of 0.001 or so and the next time you check
that one ( after you've checked all the others ) the gift might be even larger... then again there is a small
chance it might have nothing to give after that.  I was told it is possible to get as much as 5 BTC from
one statue if one has the right strategy. I have got as much as 0.1 BTC from one of them.  Last time
I checked in to that game I got 0.01 BTC twice along with a number of small amounts.

How many of those statues did you find?  26, or are there even more now?

Did not though there can be a strategy for this  Grin

I got only few times 50 bitmills, most of the time it is in range from 0..10 bitmills and the amount match rarity

I though it is simply: accumulate 1 bitmill in statue every hour and set it to empty when someone got it. You can recheck particular soldier 3 days or something after you received gift from it.

Dont know how to experimentally check it is othervise (without inside knowledge of the code).

Anyway, there are 6 soldiers on main land, 18 soldiers on level 1 island (+2 for newbie). I dont know how many are on level 5 island as i dont have such high level

Ive only seen 3 soldiers on mainland,  have checked some of the others,  I think i found like 12 overall,  need to look around some more.

Now the ones on the mainland,  ive checked them and for a week now when I check again am told, you don't want to disrespect by asking again too soon, so I don't think it's a 24 hr or even a day or three thing.
I don't know though.

Do you have reason to think any are on that island? I wouldn't think so because the statues seems to be more to get newbies started with the game and
that island is for experienced players as you say.

In talking to my mentor and with other veteran players, it isn't just about time but about checking the other statues, like I was saying.
It is helpful to find and check all the statues in order to keep getting payouts from them.

If you can't find a good mentor in the game to show them to you maybe you could put up a bounty to have someone post the coordinates of them here.   Wink

Btw, if you don't already know... you can type /loc in the game to show your location coordinates.

Port, thank you for that info,  again, I was not told really anything, I got into the game and asked several times and never really got anyone willing to help me in game, or answer questions in chat window.  there are a lot of things about the game and it's mechanics that I am sure I, and others simply do not know.   I hate to say it but have a feeling that I am not alone in the club of, don't know what's going on, in the game.   This I believe will drive a lot of folks away from it.  It IS very complex and if nobody is there to walk or help some folks through it or learn the basics, they will just leave out of frustration.

Maybe things have changed from when I would spend time there, but people used to be very friendly and helpful.
And if you were new you would have many people asking you if you had a mentor yet until you picked one... one
would have to pick a mentor just to keep from being constantly asked this.  lol

Next time you are there say something like, "Hey I am new and I need a mentor to help me gamble my large wad of coin!"   Wink
and you should have many level 5 players ( you have to be that level or above in order to mentor ) coming forward
to take you on as a student.  The more one gambles, whether they win or lose, the more their mentor makes in
Dragon's Treasure (DT).

The lack of information is perhaps a way to encourage new players to find a mentor... and/or it may be because the game
is still in alpha ( even though the game has been around for well over a year now... I remember them saying they were
just about to go into beta months ago. ).

Bitcrate is empty already.

Coinad is no longer hourly, unless you create an account with them.
The site isn't working properly for those without accounts.
I get this message when I submit the form:
"You already requested free bitcoins in the last hour
Please come back in 2 hours 4 minutes 38 seconds."

I didn't request free bitcoins in the last hour. The last I tried was yesterday and it was giving false messages and not allowing submissions like this then as well.

Yesterday it worked normally for me, maybe you had opened and did not refresh the home page (and tried to submit) because they were very often in maintainance mode?

I have to confirm you will get now these suspicious submit results when you dont have account there, but if you register account, you can submit hourly without problems.

Will be interesting what they have plans for the registered acounts, because now it does not have a purpose
