coinbox.me
has a nice list of faucets that use their service to bypass the 5430 satoshi rule.
And you can check the balance at coinbox.me even if the faucet sites don't give out balance.

Checking the balance of a BTC address on coinbox.me:
Pending microtransactions
Total paid: 0.00000000 BTC
Pending amount: 0.00000020 BTC
You'll get paid as soon as you reach 0.00005500 BTC

read: you'll get paid as soon as you are done repeating what you just did 274 more times Smiley

A lot of those newer faucets in the list which use coinbox give out 100 SAT ( 0.00000100 BTC ) every half hour, so that means 55 faucets visits... less if you play that 6/49 lotto every now and then.   Wink

The only sites listed at coinbox that aren't already listed in this thread's OP are
BitCats.net
and
BitcoinSpain.net

They will be added on the next update. ( I too wonder if coinbox and all those sites are run by the same people... )

well just made a small discovery *evil eye* . coinbox plays the free daily and just maybe the hourly ones they have listed as well. What i found was that while checking one of my unconfirmed transactions that i noticed coinbox was a recipient of the amount that the other 99 people of the 100 before processing payment.check out this transaction and see for yourself at 10:59:09 5/29/2013: https://blockchain.info/tx/c0505200e529b2c7defc6104981ef60e0c87812695586dd0d5ea1ddfde7a9359
from Bitcoin World Faucet (BitCoinWorld.me)
i am also listed as one of the other 98 there for the amount of 0.000015. The transaction above that one for 0.00001 is another one with the same sender i also have but can not remember just yet, so trying to confirm that one and will post back when or/if confirmed.

Now i am not saying the exchanges or coin holders/distributors should not be playing but wouldnt that be kind of a conflict of interest?

I am not sure what you are getting at... ( haven't had my coffee yet this morning   Cheesy  )  Where is the conflict?

I kinda suspect that all the sites that coinbox has listed - all the sites which use coinbox - are sites they themselves control. I don't know if there is anything wrong with that as long as people get the free coin they are promised by each site ( although it would be nice to get one bigger prize from one site instead of a lot of tiny ones from many sites ).

I don't see any more sites being added. Newbcoin.com for instance has expressed an interest in that service and it doesn't seem they so far have been added.

I sent coinbox an email asking about their service and how it all works etc. and haven't heard anything back yet after a couple days.

 Undecided
Hope they get back to newbcoin. I like their faucet! Chat with those guys...

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.
Advertised sites are not endorsed by the Bitcoin Forum. They may be unsafe, untrustworthy, or illegal in your jurisdiction.

About bitvisit.com there is a bad news, site will be shut down for an idefinate period of time.
To quote from the admin of the site:

Quote
I am sorry but This site will be shut down for an indefinate period of time.. I just poured in another $250 worth of advertising in to this and some of you hackers out there just stole it. I have tried really hard to make this a success and spent a lot of money just to find people cheat and hacked it. Needless to say I am sorry for those legitimate users and advertisers. - Admin

Will be removed from the list on the next update.

I had a bad feeling when balance went to 0 after payment request was made and no payment received. They owe me 0.00245000. Should have stopped being a lamb after getting stiffed the first time Smiley The site is still up. These no-money sites should put up warnings of no payment instead of business as usual.

Yep. There's a regime in this forum to avoid Newbies mingling with those who find themself better.

The whole situation is explained in a post (that no one is able to find) somewhere in the forum.

this seems to be the only forum where I can post?

It's unfortunate that more than a few sites operate like that. Why give out BTC when you can get people coming to your site and clicking on ads etc., while giving out nothing?  That is why I list discontinued sites in the OP; so people know which sites to avoid, and so people won't keep posting recommendations for certain non-working sites to be added to the list, when they come across these sites in the wild.

Hello all! Smiley

I'm still pretty new to BTC. Been mining for a few weeks with a GPU. Also tried a few free BTC sites, but many transactions did not get confirmed at all Cheesy I'd love to take part in this Newbie Lotto! My BTC-address (made freshly for this purpose) is the following:

Thanks in advance for this chance!

Hi, I'm the admin of Bitcoiner.net. I've just wanted to say that I've increased the average payout to 0.00015 BTC. Also I'll implement some way to reward those that are visiting the site regulary in next few days.

Unless stated otherwise, all opinions are of my own, not FaucetBOX.com's.
