I don't see a stakecoin directory in the stakecoin appdata. I also am still trying to figure out how to change the text to a conf file even if I figure out where to put this..

Would it be easier for me to just do what cinnicoin said earlier "you can add the nodes manually in the wallet by opening help, clicking on debug window, then click on console, and put this one by one:
addnode <node> add
replace <node> with 198.105.125.118 for example, do it for each one clicking enter after each one."

If I do this does it matter if I included the < >  arrows around the node or not. In the above example he didn't include them.

I am so sick of dealing with this crap but I do appreciate the people that have been trying to offer me some help. A video showing step by step instructions on how to do this would be nice.

Look into this map:
C:\Users\<your_login_name>\AppData\Roaming\StakeCoin
klick new txt file
dubbelklick the file
copy-paste the nodes I posted earlier
save
rename the txt file into stakecoin.conf
(in folder options jou must check that you not hde file extentions)
succes

No news from the dev for months now.
This thread should be moved to the scam section.

Cinnicoin and Stakecoin

Come on guys. 1 month ago I said it already. Cinni or STK is a dead coin. I had months Cinni and then converted to stakecoin. It's promise at promise at promise but nothing is coming. Dev has not here since March 21. this goes for months as.

I sold my STK and for XBS (bitstake) and already have my money back (thankfully).
Tip: Keep an eye on XBS. Every promise of dev is where made so far. This could be a good new altcoin!

I still have the wallet running on 54.175.201.230  for the explorer.

SetBestChain: new best=8a24ad405bbb2d54bb4bc6c23dd7f7dc294eb3335a22a820b9ccae7ab5ff7b95  height=140695  trust=10378719596450592128  blocktrust=99597996208180  date=04/23/15 16:49:36
ProcessBlock: ACCEPTED

The explorer's database is lagging behind, but the wallet daemon is running smoothly.

I was lucky I never change over my cinni to the fake stake coin.  I sold my cinni and bought XRP.  They are more reliable than this

You are right Ripple is a very solid investment.
My investment is only 1600 STK so not a big loss if it fails.
Lost also on other altcoins but it is a hobby and interesting and instructive.

community is very important key for succes but here is no community yet but I 'm avalable if more people come in.

i'm surprised cinnicoin left after all the work of converting cinni to stakecoin - and the wallet works perfectly, what we were aiming for the whole time - this coin even with no dev is better than some other coins out there

I don't think he left
He is probably just away because it didn't go to an exchange
I bet if it goes to an exchange it will get darksend, encrypted messaging, stealth addresses, masternodes, and more.
