AN IMAGINARY CONVERSATION FROM JULY 14, 2013, CONCOCTED TO PROVE AN OBVIOUS POINT THAT DIDN'T NEED PROVING:

Quote
nubbins...you have for sale right now a 1BTC silver for 2BTC.
Today (gasp!) BTC is trading for $90USD.

Let us fast forward to 2014 (wavy screen and harp music)
BTC trades for a variety of prices, from over $1,000 USD to as low as $300 USD.

Would you still expect to get 2BTC for that 1BTC silver?

No longer buying/selling Casascius coins. Beware scammers.

Huh

Of course I would. What, I'm going to slash my prices so penniless noobs can get in on this game?

Now you are just being silly.  There is no human being on this earth who would pay $10,000 above the loaded amount of a coin and you know it.

I only have a signature because I'm allowed.

Just like there was no human being on earth who would pay two thousand dollars for a 1oz 2013-minted round (until it happened) and there was no human being on earth who would pay 50 BTC for a 2011 brass error coin (until it happened) and there was no human being on earth who would pay more than 5 BTC for a S2 silver half (until it happened, and happened, and happened, and happened, and happened...) and there was... should I continue? Cheesy

Am I the only person here who understands that this marketplace is different?
