After tomorrows leaderboard prizes for daily and monthly top wagered are paid out there will be no more leaderboard prizes for the dice game.

It's been discussed that there could be a much better promotion for players and so new ideas will be looked at.

In other news the integration of softswiss games is being tested and things look good so hopefully we will have the new casino games live this week.

A Dean week?

Having some problems with a bug on divest while players are betting at the moment.

Looking to try fix the problem and get the site back on asap.

If I can't get it back up soon I will put it on with betting disabled so you can divest/withdraw if you wish.

Sorry for inconvenience.

Not sure what the real reason is but I remember dean posting in chat that those games didn't see much traffic so he was planning to only have dice and introduce new games.

They will probably implement more attractive blackjack and roulette games from SoftSwiss

Due to the slowdown of the blockchain the past few days the fees on PRC have been raised to 0.0002 Bitcoin by default.
This should speed up withdrawals to the normal speed.

I also put a message on the deposit popup recommending players to set their transaction fee to 0.0002 Bitcoin when depositing, if possible.
Some deposits took 24 hours using the normal 0.0001 fee.

If this issue with the blockchain gets resolved I will put the fees back to 0.0001.

I think however it is better for players to have it this way for now.

Its also very risky, someone with 500-1000btc could easily clean prc's bankroll, but i guess investors like the risk.

Due the fact that investors only risk a percentage of their investment per bet there is no real chance of anyone cleaning out the bankroll.
The max bet changes every bet based on how much is invested.

There was just recently a player who had > 1000 Bitcoin bankroll who won a huge amount (around 1000 Bitcoin) but investors were never at risk of being totally wiped out.

I am confused with the risk factor for investing,

I was hoping if I invest 1BTC @ 10% kelly that would 20 times more profit share than some investing 1BTC @.5% kelly.

If not, Can someone explain without formulas :p

Do they have a api?

The betting api is accessible via signalr. I'm sure Dean wouldn't mind helping you get things up and running if you have a worthwhile app for the site. You can see my implementation of the api at https://github.com/Seuntjie900/DiceBot/blob/master/DiceBot/PRC.cs

It does exactly that, BUT it also means that you carry 20x more of the losses share than investing at 0.5% kelly

its a little under 20x because of diminishing returns but close to 20x

you have a much higher risk of loss too though.

If you bet 2x kelly of your fixed bankroll long term, you are guaranteed to bust!

heheh. That's fun to write a toy simulator for:

Code:
var kelly = 1;

function roll() {
  return Math.random() > 0.495 ? 1 : -1;
}

var wins = 0;
var loses = 0;
function run() {

  var bankroll = 1;

  for (var j = 1; true; ++j) {

    var bet = bankroll * 0.01 * kelly;
    bankroll += bet * roll();

    if (bankroll > 1e40) {
      wins++;
      console.log('Won all the money in the world. Won: ', wins, ' Busted: ', loses);
      return rerun();
    }
    if (bankroll < 1e-40) {
      loses++;
      console.log('Busted! Won: ', wins, ' Busted: ', loses);
      return rerun();
    }

  }
}

function rerun() {
  setTimeout(run, 0);
}

run();

Sample output of running with a 1x kelly:

Code:
...
Won all the money in the world. Won:  189  Busted:  0
Won all the money in the world. Won:  190  Busted:  0
Won all the money in the world. Won:  191  Busted:  0
...

Sample output of running with a 2x kelly:
Code:
Busted! Won:  38  Busted:  83
Won all the money in the world. Won:  39  Busted:  83
Busted! Won:  39  Busted:  84
Busted! Won:  39  Busted:  85
Busted! Won:  39  Busted:  86
Busted! Won:  39  Busted:  87
Busted! Won:  39  Busted:  88
Won all the money in the world. Won:  40  Busted:  88

Sample output of running with a 3x kelly:
Code:
Busted! Won:  0  Busted:  191
Busted! Won:  0  Busted:  192
Busted! Won:  0  Busted:  193
Busted! Won:  0  Busted:  194
Busted! Won:  0  Busted:  195

Check out gamblingsitefinder.com for a decent list/rankings of crypto casinos. Note: I have no affiliation or interest in it, and don't even agree with all the rankings ... but it's the only uncorrupted review site I'm aware of.

That is an interesting analysis, though in reality it is a lot more easy to have "won all the money in the world" for 2 reasons. Tongue
1. There won't be 1e40 times of your initial investment in the world available for you to win.
2. Even with a 2x or 3x or 10x Kelly setup, very few bets are that huge. Most of the bets are of a size of just a tiny tiny fraction of max profit.
