Keep in mind it is during summer during all of this.  So for me I personally use decent fan's with high CFM's and push the air away from miners in my mining area. I'm not in a area evaporation cooling is effective.  So during a pretty hot day I'm happy with it and no damage from it.

At night it is already in low 60's and will get lower chances are later.   Mining during summer for many like me means mining a little hotter.   But the S7-F1 handles it fine so far.

I have 2 x S7-F1s and 2 x S7-B18s running in the same location under the same conditions. Last week when it hit 90F here, the S7-F1's actually ran about 8-10C cooler.
The Batch 18's pushed 75 - 77C but the the Single Fan versions stayed under 70C. I actually like them better.

I have had nothing but good luck from it.   The one fan seems to work fine with higher RPM even during a midwest summer.   I had planned adding a second fan to it and showing it here.   But it simply has not been needed.

It is still hashing away almost a month later great without issues from miner.

Is it louder then two fan antminer?

I have not done any DB readings with it since it's in my mining area. There are some big fan's and professional gable fan out there so it is always loud.  So it is not really good to get a DB reading of sound but I can handle a lot of heat even in Midwest Summers using lot's of CFM's to move heat.

But it is not a quiet miner with 6000 RPM fan, but the 2 fan model is not quiet either.  If you can handle a regular S7 sound I don't see the S7-F1 being an issue.  But if your worried about sound honestly neither miner is for you unless you plan on doing something to lessen sound.  And on a side note the one fan with higher RPM has done a really good job on cooling, I had planned on adding a 2nd fan but have not done it yet as the one bigger fan has done very well.
