Hoi everyone!

I have 5 transactions stuck in unconfirmed state for about 5 days now.
Three aren't really important... but the last two of are over 50 BTC worth.

I've already started bitcoin-qt with the -rescan option. That didn't help.
After that I deleted all files except wallet.dat. I restarted bitcoin-qt (which took forever) and this morning I got the same old 51.80752995 bitcoins unconfirmed.

All transactions I've received after that got confirmed in the normal timeframe. I just hope these transactions will get confirmed as well.
If someone can help me getting these bitcoins confirmed (I don't know if I can do anything about this) I offer a 5 BTC bounty.

Thanks.

The transactions show as confirmed on bc.info 1, 2. Make sure the blockchain you have downloaded is up-to-date.

Do you have a recent backup of your wallet? If you do, quit out of Bitcoin and save a copy of your current wallet just in case, then copy the backup over.

Do you have another 40.24029999 BTC transaction on your list? If so, that's the real transaction (at least for the 40.24029999 BTC one), and the unconfirmed one can be ignored, as it will never confirm (you should still try to get those removed from your wallet, however).

@TehZomB
Thank you.
How do I do this? My wallet is up to date. I re-downloaded all blocks yesterday and that didn't help.

@Maged
Is this possible? I have another transaction of the same amount on the next day... I think that's the case.

@TehZomB, what's your bitcoin address? I will send you both 2.5btc for helping me out.

Shared bounty sent, should be with you shortly. Smiley

Topic can be closed. The transactions are double. Unfortunately, I was not as rich as I thought I was. Wink

Glad to help -
You can remove the dupe transactions using pywallet. Instructions are in the thread.

My address is 17thq7PG94Nw936inDBU2BjSnyuK2WR8bY. Thanks, and I hope Satoshi continues to treat you well  Wink

I was literally just about to post that  Undecided

You'll want to remove those transactions, just in case Bitcoin decides to use them in the future, causing you to send a transaction that will never confirm and would lock up your funds.

Yeah, SatoshiDice has been having issues with the transactions they've sent out, so they sometimes have to double-spend a transaction that hasn't confirmed after awhile in order to make sure people get their money. You still end up with what you won, it just causes weird issues like this.

I had the same type of issue with withdrawals from MtGox. Coins would not confirm for days. They are still not confirming.

MtGox looked into it and told me there was a problem with one of the mining pools and as soon as the bug is fixed the coins will start to confirm.

I figure this answer is worth at LEAST 1BTC Smiley
