Dude relax, give him that time, if the pS3 is indeed lost in customs then that is not his fault. You should have insured the shipping. Lets wait for him to get back here and obviously with his trust so red, he wouldnt find anyone to deal anything here, especially with him admitting to *might have rip someone else off (but not you).

There is not much point waiting. The guy already admitted he was a known scammer. The chances of OP getting his PS3 are slim, I'm afraid to say.

Always use escrow and be careful out there.

The chances of met getting back my money or the product are virtually 0.
The seller keeps cursing, changing his statements and also keeps denying the fact that he is a complete fool and a sacammer.

I never thought this guy would have turned out to be like this. Im not gonna wait no more. Atleast refund half of my payment that i did for the shipping.

I dont think you would actually get back anything from him. But thats my thinking. At this point all that remains to be seen is if he has actually shipped the product. Because if he has then you can use those receipts to track the item down in customs warehouse but that is IF it ever arrived in Pakistan.

Exactly why I am asking him to bring forward any proof of receipt that he might have. If he genuinely shipped a PS3 then there must be SOME form of verifiable documents which can be reacquired.

Nine hours ago Smack filed a chargeback.

So after I said I would provide proof, the chargeback was filed. I can't stop the chargeback for two reasons:

1: I have no tracking information (And I highly doubt the shipping/customs receipts will be enough for PayPal)

2: That PP account is at like -$300 anyway so I don't care about $66.


I'd just like to point out that the chances of Smack scamming $66 off of the price of this PS3 are pretty high at this point. But that's okay, right? I'm a scammer, so it's okay for other people to steal from me. Get what you deserve, what goes around, pot calling the kettle, etc. No problem.

I'm posting the receipt copies here tomorrow (Assuming USPS can give them to me the same day I ask for them). I'm interested to see how the community handles Smack "scamming" a "scammer". Does he get neg repped for that? Is it okay because it's me? Is it okay because it's a scammer in general? This is an excellent sociological experiment.

I have two theories on this...

1: He's scamming $66 off of the price because he can or because I have the reputation of a thief, so it's okay to do that to me.

2: He's in full panic mode because he knows who I am and what I do, and genuinely believes that I didn't send the Playstation.

The receipts should crush #2, so I'm really interested to see what happens after that. I'll update you folks later. (I love bitcointalk drama, don't you? )

It turns out I was wrong in accusing Smack of trying to scam money off of the PS3 price. The tracking lists the item as having been processed in Pakistan as of Feb. 12th. I'm assuming that means the package hasn't gotten to it's destination, and not that he had received it and used my horrid reputation to pull a fast one. I apologize.

I'm assuming that you saw me getting negative rep, me all but admitting to being a scammer, and got worried that I didn't send the item. You had no tracking to reassure you. I would have thought the same thing in your position.

I didn't realize you could use a customs number for tracking. The lady at USPS told me that there wasn't tracking on the package, so all I had were the receipts, which I tossed after a while. If I would have known the customs number could be used for tracking, I'd have sent it to you.

I'll be interested to see if you actually send the $34 in BTC "for my troubles".

If I sent the PS3 I can't show you the product "and address", or whatever you're asking me for. All I can do is show you proof that I sent the package, and show you the customs declaration.

"If" you receive the PS3 isn't my problem. I sent it, it's in Pakistan, and I have a picture of the actual customs declaration which I can't fake. I went in, asked for the receipts from the 27th of Jan, gave them my ID, and the guy came back with a customs receipt and told me that you can check the customs number. He didn't give me a copy of the shipping receipt (The amount I paid in shipping).

I don't know what else you want that's in my power to give. I can't make the mail go faster. Something being "just a damn tracking number" is enough for anyone on this forum, generally speaking. You wanted tracking, I gave you a tracking number. You wanted proof that I sent it, I have the customs declaration. What more do you want?
