You also did try to turn the aggression up from 10 to 18 ?

I had it at 18 but pc is unusable at that number, I changed it to a little bit more moderate, 15. pc gets a little hiccups here and there once in a while, like opening certain stuff.

Ok, cool. Just wanted to help you get the best hashrate.

cheers

Yea, for sure. Smiley

What is odd is, I am using the intel hd graphics for my desktop, and don't use the two ati gpu's at all but for mining. And using 18 I would think, should have no effect on my desktop use at all. Find that odd?

My stales jumped up to 1.4%.

I'm actually gonna stop mining litecoins on the gpu's.

I would make around 138.484 LTC a day = 0.34759 BTC a day at the exchange.  0.34759 x 7 = 2.43313 BTC a week. When I mine bitcoins, I make    3.12 a week.

As stated this was a test and it isn't worth mining litecoins atm. And I have learned quite a bit by this experience. So it wasn't a waste.

My hash rate for mining btc is 768 mhash/s

Now, when the difficulty goes up in bitcoin, then it might be worth swapping over to litecoins.

Um ok...most ltc miners actually are making more BTC via LTC mining. Not sure where your numbers are going wrong.

hm.

I took my bitcoin mining hash rate and applied it to http://www.alloscomp.com/bitcoin/calculator.php
Then I took the amount I would make in a day of litecoin mining 138.484 LTC, converted it over at https://btc-e.com/exchange/ltc_btc to btc x 7.

Am I doing something wrong here?

My litecoin hashrate would be 330 khash/s from the gpu's + 15 khash/s from one cpu = 345 khash/s.

Currently to me it's a close call whereas two days ago it was more profitable for me to mine litecoin. As I mentioned, once the litecoin difficulty goes up %34 in ten hours, I`ll be back to mining BTC.

Sure is fun solving blocks so often though  Smiley

Are you sure? My single 5830 does 290kh/s.

You should be able to get at least double that with not much work.

Well, my configs are above. my overclocks are like so. one 5850 is 915core/550mem other 5850 is 1000c/350mem.

Is there a hardware comparison somewhere?

I posted the cmd window results as well.
