Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

aye, his last transaction rating was 9-9-2011. :/ so likely it was not him you were dealing with.

I assume you mean /identd ?  Not been on irc for a while.

If you're not excited by the idea of being an early adopter 'now', then you should come back in three or four years and either tell us "Told you it'd never work!" or join what should, by then, be a much more stable and easier-to-use system.

On bitcoin-otc I was trying to sell the moneypak and pretty much nobody wanted it and wasn't gonna give it to him but got tired of waiting.

Now I realllyy gotta wait =|
