You did the right thing letting them know their mistake. A monetary reward is not necessary for honesty. Your reward is knowing your integrity is still in check.
+1 though, a 'thank you' would have been a nice bonus atleast. ;p |
If you're not excited by the idea of being an early adopter 'now', then you should come back in three or four years and either tell us "Told you it'd never work!" or join what should, by then, be a much more stable and easier-to-use system.

Hi everyone, as we can see BTC-e's input, they have thanked me and I can confirm that I received that little bonus. Of course, I was not expecting anything. "Thank you" is what I was hoping for and got it.  I wish there was more honest people, I've been scammed 5-6 times this year and I just hate that when people run away with a handful of money. Some of you guys just make me laugh. I did not post this to earn stars or get any rewards. I definitely did not post this to scam any of you. I will never ask people to lend me any money, trust me I don't need your money. I just thought it might be interesting to read and I never wanted to hurt BTC-e, human error, it happens. I trust them and keep using their services. As you can see, I bough the HD 6990 from "Smoothie" ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=91263.0) I paid him 25,000 Litecoins (1000-1650USD). That's how it all started. I was trying to send him 25k LTC but he claimed that he never received it. That's a lot of money to give away for that old & used graphics card. If some of you really think that all this was written to gain trust before "The big scam" I may as well delete this thread. Life is simple, if you think too much, you may get lost in your own head. Being over-cautious, too cautious is not what you call "being open minded." |
