What is the name of your account that was banned?

I don't think it is very common to get permanently banned the first time, so whatever you did was probably a repeat offense.

If there is not a timeframe as to how long your ban will last then I believe it will be permanent

Copy and paste the message here and maybe someone can help you. It usually says the duration but if it doesn't it's likely permenant.

Did you happen to have an alternate account that you were using during this ban? If so then you were probably banned for ban evading, either that or you purchased an account that was previously banned

I checked the posts of this guy, albeit they seem very short posts and have a theme of spamming but they can be considered as temporary ban, since he is neither cheater nor a ponzi and I ask the forum powers give this guy another chance

How exactly you don't know mate , I'am pretty sure that the reason is told once you get banned , even if not it should tell you for how much tell you are going to stay banned if Permanant or x days .
Just tryto contact the appeal email given or contact theymos or BadBear (I guess he is the one who do the bans etc .)

I just came off a 5 day ban. It sucks, but I was in the wrong so I had no recourse but to take it like a man. You really start to see how little resources and BTC knowledge is out there if you don't have bitcointalk for asking questions and having discussions.

I didn't spam, but I don't think anyone tolerates it, you'll just get reported and shut out into the cold.

Really though, you are a member of a pretty great community, funny, smart, helpful, crazy, you get a little bit of everything here. Treat your membership as a privelege and respect what you got. It will enrich your experience and evyone else's too

I replied to your thread in the newbie section (not sure why it was there). But what was the reason listed on your ban? I find it hard to believe that a hero member was banned for breaking some forum rule after being here for 17+ months

Can you say what it was? You don't spam so it is surprising. It may help others to avoid what you did.
