the fundamentals didnt change, so i dont see a reason to sell except speculating which i dont have time for
The fundamentals have changed. The cost of the network is sky high, so miners need to dump the 3600 coins mined everyday. At this price that's $750,000/day. Sorry folks.. that overhead will continue to eat at BTC for years to come. It needs to fall ALOT further until it stops falling. I just don't agree with people when they say the fundamentals have changed. You can still pay for things whether the price is high or low so how are the fundamentals changing? |

It's a great opportunity to buy coins at such price. It's an amazing new years present! While people were selling their coins below $170 I was enjoying scooping up these coins. I hold my coins because I trust the technology behind Bitcoin. And probably most important for me is that I own 100% of my Bitcoin value. Banks can't control that.  |

Nice bump! Bitcoin will go up and down that will not stop me from buying more and holding the ones I have like you said. The thing is if you have invested what you are happy with it would not matter what we go down to imo. Only risk what you can lose and hold or trade. Good luck |

Now it has gone up again. All situations are temporary although holding bitcoins are very risky. There are good reasons to keep bitcoins such as: 1)Studying how the bitcoin ecosystems works 2)Investing in bitcoins 3)You just want something to play with 4)You want to use an anonymous payment method while paying online for a product 5)You want to buy drugs But bitcoins aren't dead, that I'm sure everyone would agree with me. |

The community is alive. People are still willing to pay for bitcoin for a certain price using fiat money and certainly it holds some value. The technology is unique. It has the potential to replace the existing system and probably solves all the issue the current system is facing. Adoption is growing albelt at slower rate but that's fine. So the future is there. What else do we need?

This makes a lot of angry or happy people as you will see when we get the next rise it will be a mad house in here with all the excitement i find it funny if i am honest I mean if you have invested a losable amount you already wrote that off the moment you invested so it does not matter what the price does and you can just enjoy being part of this. |

It's not a good thing unless you want to buy more but what if it keeps on depreciating and never recovers? That would be a bad thing. I don't think bitcoin guarantees anyone to get rich but I think the potential is definitely there. yes i will keep my bitcoins current price is around 260$ per bitcoin in few months it will reach 400$ per bitcoins

considering that BTC went from 160 to 270 this year alone, I think yes.
The best time to buy is after hard falls, if the fundamentals remains strong, like BTC
