Very honestly, it looks like a great coin. If it works, and I believe it does, then it should be very successful.

But could one of the developers clarify any connection it might have with dubaicoin? The similarities defy chance and it would be better to clarify if there was some connection between the two coins.

I strongly support geo, own a fair amount, and hope it does well if it is a decent coin. The dubaicoin overlap is either clarifiable or it is something that needs to be covered up?
Looking at the post above the only similarities I see between GEO and Dubaicoin is blocks numbered 2-100 for (instamine protection).  All the other coin settings seem to differ in terms of mining algorithm, numbers of blocks, block reward and even the decrease in block reward over time.

If you look back, GEO was originally planned to be an X11 algorithm based coin, but after some constructive feedback from the community it was decided to switch to the Qubit mining algorithm.  Since launch the GeoCoin project has developed and delivered the Google Maps GeoCashing interface and we are very close to launching the new and improved MapBox interface shortly.

Hope that helps clear some things up!

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

Last night I was able to customize the physical trackables popups.  I also cleaned up a few remaining bugs with the Camera Perspective Controls and 3D Buildings.

Migrating the new MapBox interface into the live production environment in preparation for some beta testing!

Someone is attacking the network with huge hashrate, invalidating / rejecting all other blocks from the pools... And due to the miners spread on so many pools, no one can compete.

Thanks for update !

Can you please use some other screen capturing software that does not frame skip. It's really annoying and software looks buggy and laging.

Most people have no idea what geocaching is, also it is kind of hard to believe that you can place coins like that securely anywhere in the world and a person can go to that spot and scoop them up.

Yes that is correct, I calculate the current amount at 3,047,792

There is a massive community of active geocachers worldwide and the number of geocaches is up in the millions.  According to geocaching.com, the community includes over 800 thousand active geocachers and 2.8 million geocaches worldwide.

Sorry about the screen capture software, I will look into replacing it before our next video.  Smiley
