blockchain.info - Buggy but very featureful and useful
paytunia.com - Simple but reliable
walletbit.com - Useful intuitive wallet (pretty cool too)
mtgox.com - Useful as a wallet service, also an exchange

Not sure about any others...

Most of them also support smart phones, and have the basic features like address book, etc...

Just to add our wallet easywallet.org, which is like instawallet but offers some additional features. Also could be the most stable way to use bitcoins from iPhone (the native apps get banned all the time).

List of options:

There are two categories .. hybird EWallets and hosted (shared) EWallets:

 - http://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Category:HybridEWallets

If you are talking pocket money (amounts you'ld carry in your back pocket or purse), the difference isn't really a factor though.

I personally prefer an eWallet that I can access the account from both a website and also using a mobile app.

For this, the list shrinks:
 - Paytunia (web) and Paytunia app.
 - Blockchain.info/wallet (web) and Blockchain app.
 - Instawallet (web) and Instawallet app.
 - EasyWallet (web) with QR scanner app.  There is no wallet app but the website is mobile friendly.

For iPhone/iOS:
 - EasyWallet (web) with QR scanner app.  There is no wallet app but the website is mobile friendly.
