The network tries to produce one block per 10 minutes. It does this by automatically adjusting how difficult it is to produce blocks.

Check out: http://www.cryptocoinrank.com/

I wouldn't base my decisions solely on that site, but it does help with researching certain coins.

Hi i recently started with bitcoins / altcoins.
And i was wondering what altcoin you guys think is best for investing in this year.

Are you looking to invest in crypto technology and inovation? Then StealthCoin(XST) is the answer. They're about to releasing the first ever Tile 3D wallet after Bitcoin, then web wallet after that. They will also releasing first ever sublinear anonymous crypto transaction by this summer. The good stuffs like multi-sig, anon chat and in wallet Tor explorer will be out by this year. This coin already have Tor implemented(no manual setup), and already have anon SMS transaction. Other coins are just copy of Bitcoin with no innovation.

These threads pop up all the time. They quickly devolve into people claiming the coins they are heavily invested in are the best. That, or the devs of various coins will drop in to pimp their coins.
I agree with what has been said most in this thread. Do your own research and base your investment on what you can afford to do.

people altready mentioned good coins like vior and others. imo gg coins are those which give you enhanced blockchains and services integrated. next gen coins will give you better solutions for coin mining. ex.: Coin of the Magi.

Basically its a "CPU only" mining coin everyone can mine it with very low hashing power. Actually its rewarding system is made to give more coins/found block when the total hashing power is lower. That means no extra expenses. Even a Raspberry PI could mine it.

hey there

Thanks for proving the point I made in the previous post.

Don't invest only if someone tells you in to invest in that coin , that's what he meant by doing your own research.

Exactly. Most people will be biased in favor of his/her preferred coin and will try to sell it (advertise) every chance they get.

The Vericoin wallet with an integrated and working SuperNET is coming out very soon along with a cool pipeline of new development.  Might be worth watching it or doing some stealth accumulation.  Eventually, real revenues will be paid to Vericoin holders via the SuperNET network.  Cool stuff.

I want you to get excited.

I mean, REALLY excited.  You are about to encounter the perfect mathematical object.  Show some god damn respect.

Pegasus Coin is coming, the official coin of American Pegasus, the user.

The alt coin space, fuck it - THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE, will never be the same.

A cryptocurrency that also represents an individual person... and it's zero premine?  How will that even work?

Well, they said I was crazy when I rode the only known unicorn directly into the sun, waving the American flag.  They said not to do it, it was our only unicorn, that the surface is over 5,000 kelvin, but fuck them.  As I fired my Smith & Wesson into the air repeatedly, hoisting the flag above my head, me and that unicorn hit the surface of the first star at over 88% of the speed of light.

Nuclear photons seared into our DNA and qDNA (quantum DNA) and fused the trinity of objects into a singular element with an atomic weight of 9015.

That object was and forever will be  The American Pegasus...

The Pegasus Coin...

The Perfect Mathematical Object...

Get.  The. Fuck.  EXCITED.

 Shocked Coming soon...  Shocked

Account is back under control of the real AmericanPegasus.

With Bitcoin at such great price. Why the hell would you even spend on any other crypto?

Vericoin is moving up.  Up 15% since I posted.  A big year is coming with game changing stuff.  And its not a scam like 99% of the others so that's good too.

We are moving away from the idea of "coins".

The advances currently being made by the most interesting development out there speaks for itself.

They don't need their developers on bitcointalk.org pumping their wares - they have their developers focused 100% on what they do best.

If you don't know who this organization is, you are a ostrich with its head in the sand.
