I was unaware that ponzi schemes were legal in Belgium. Oh, wait they aren't.

In before the collapse.

PS. Syke, 50 BTC is not nearly enough for me to set up up a 300+ TH/s farm, but if you're serious about throwing your money away please contact me and I'm sure we can work something out  Wink

I'm not normally a big fan of escrow. Too many people have received boxes of rocks and then you get into arguments on what was shipped vs what was received. But in this case the delivery is publicly verifiable by anyone, thus escrow works great. So I'm reasonably protected from their scam by requiring escrow.

If MineThatCloud can deliver 345 TH/s for 30 days, then it's worth 50 btc to me. They're selling contracts for half that price on their website. If they had any shred of legitimacy they'd jump at my offer. We can then conclude that they don't have 345 TH/s, and thus can't deliver, so escrow stops their scam.

MineThatCloud is selling something they do not have, and are paying new customers from old customer funds. The best description of that is a Ponzi scam.

Let me translate it for our "Belgium" MineThatCloud representative:

wat moest bewezen worden
ce qu'il fallait démontrer
was zu beweisen war

Its funny all the people who have slagged us off are complete idiots

Said BOSS of cloud mining operation. Never heard legit business slag of their customers and who knows maybe future customers. GREAT PR

Re-read the sentence, I dont think you understand. We dont want any of you who slag us off to be our customers...Once again the only thing you can do to try and hinder our service is "try and put words in our mouth", None of you have any proof. all speculation that is incorrect.

Who are the morons giving their money to a "company" that not just hasn't provided any proof of legitimacy, but actually flat out refuses to do so? It's not the people that ask for proof of legitimacy and get to keep their bitcoins, that's for sure.

Please dont attack our customers.

You dont condone our actions even though we have done nothing wrong nor will do... but you all condone this behaviour? http://www.minethatcloud.com/index.php/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=28

And wow you are all suddently going to withdraw and claim innocence.

Well that sheds a light on a lot just looked at sykes trust rating.. Syke who was belittling you guys and saying how stupid i am to support you and invest in you.. And according to himself he has invested 100btc in you...

Sorry syke but the validity of your comments and posts has just been shattered, You are either lying on here and simply trolling, or you are lying about investing in the company. Either of which is not acceptable

Yep, He is not just the only one.

complete abuse of trust system, Shows how stupid these guys are.

Enjoy your rep you fucking scammer!

I was unaware that ponzi schemes were legal in Belgium. Oh, wait they aren't.

Of course they aren't.
Selling by misrepresentation of the product is a crime in most jurisdictions.
Any legit business that was accused of doing this, like MtC is here, would bend over backwards to provide simple proof and shut critics up.
MtC are responding in a typical scammers way: hostility, ad hominems, strawmen and obfuscation.
Their few supporters are just as bad, either socks or naive marks with a sinking feeling in their gut and a dose of Stockholm Syndrome.

more likely referral whores and/or people who actually invested and want to see the ponzi live long enough for them to profit.
Not that there is a snow balls chance in hell for that.

Since this will likely be deleted from the other thread...

BTW -

There was no block found on Jan 17th with 0.00622459 BTC in TX fees, and the change from 40640955017 difficulty to 43971662056 didn't happen until block 338688 at 2015-01-12 17:34:33. You should fix your made up stats.

So about this signature you're using. How does it feel to endorse a ponzi scheme?

And calling out other users for trying to get their share of the same ponzi? Hypocrite.

@Mr.Teal, I set them up on their "found blocks". I was hoping to see how they would try to fix that lie.

The site is now redirecting to Cloud Mining Website - another "cloud mining service" which I've proven to be a total scam.

For those of you who left these scammers positive feedback, I'd remove that if I was you.

Good to see one go down fast and catch the idiots that promote this crap out.  Maybe they will learn to stop using affiliate links etc to steal the BTC off later "investors" this way

im0rtel im looking at you specifically!  Enjoy the negative trust.

I suggest we treat all Ponzi promoters thus

Now that the website is gone, can anyone confirm if there are any payouts still being made?
