What a bunch of losers, you bitcoiners are no better than the fiat bankers who print money out of thin air...

It only takes one failure to prove the whole bitcoin industry is a hoax, and there have been plenty of failures...

The only interested parties in bitcoin are pirates. crackheads and mafia not to mention the weak economies that allow you crackheads to get away with it...

You make me wanna puke

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

So we agree there's a problem with fiat.

There's just so many upcoming BTC conferences in the near future and plenty of things to be unveiled that undoubtedly there'll be some steam picking up here soon. Probably part of the grand plan of sorts. Wink

Tell it like it is...

bitcoin? pffff, no value in the real world unless someone is willing to exchange it for fiat dollars...

Virtual real estate?  ahhhhhh now that sounds like something worth speculating on

buy low - sell high

Unlike real world real estate. if things go wrong? at least you will still have the land to live on...

Be a little more creative with the names yall pick cuz it'll immediately give you away before you post your garb. If you're here for a reason and expect to stick around and invest in your account activity, ya might want to be more objective so you're more seasoned for a change in market sentiment and can stick around with your head high and your name credible to move forward.

cryptography? pffff...

Too bad you can't duplicate gold bullion like you can ""cryptography""...

Maybe I should use the same business model to create my own bitcoin...

I'll call it .......hmmmmmm?   sh!tcoin -------> bazinga!!

What makes ""cryptography"" unique? when so many crackheads out there use the same ""cryptography"" to create bitcoin under a different name?

Well nobody is saying Bitcoin is faultless. Bitcoin was here to cover up some of the faults of traditional finance system. But it failed to keep pace, that's all.

OK, but .. how much did you lose?

Bitcoin was made by someone who owned a good percentage of the original digits and it was made for fools(without demographic area).  Smiley

"you live in Congo? OK! do you have money? yes, I have. Good !!! Give it to me and i will send you some "bitcoin".
You will be like "us", libertarians "
  Grin

then... and the "fool" has asked :

"what will I do with it?"   the answer was  "hm...nothing but find others like you, - "fools"- and sell them your bitcoin for more money than I sold it to you"

Then, by telling his story, this individual (later transformed in a gang) created demand for some digits on a screen. The dollar-value of his share of the bitcoins appreciates with the other digits.

After that, they created the so called "exchangers/brokers" in order to manipulate the market as they want. It sounds nice(broker, FX) to the people's ears who have some financial information.

It's so funny when you read the so called Bitcoin capitalization : over 2,5 billions USD.

Capitalization means that 2.5 billions USD really exists "somewhere". That many people came with their fiat currency and they bought Bitcoin. Where are the money? Of course, they do not exist at a such level (2,5 billions) and they will never exist.

The share price in relation to earnings and net assets that determines the price if a stock is over or undervalued. Shares represent a fraction of ownership in a business. Now, is BTC like any other commodity or is it a company? If it is a company then each people who buy 1 BTC is shareholder and it must earn a part of the BTC profit Smiley
Shares represent a fraction of ownership in a business.

You see how stupid is this system? OK. You will tell that BTC is a currency. A currency is regulated by a a central authority in order to prevent any scams/abuses .
Example: the USD is guaranteed by the US government: this relies on faith in the ability of the federal government to pay back any debts.

Also, the USD have value because everybody thinks they have value. Who is this earth will trust Bitcoin (a gang)? It has no future as it is.

You will tell me that any gov is a gang and other shits like this. Ok. this is the world where we live but i rather trust any gov from this planet than "the gang". Smiley

"Everybody" in your case = 500,000- 1 mil user since 6 years ago. More than that, less than 0.1% from these have used BTC to buy "goods" Smiley

Why, because there is no interest from merchants, to accept Bitcoin and those who own BTC, are speculating it. They don't need BTC to buy a PC or a beer or condoms. You can do that with a card or cash.

Once the market is flooded with the many different flavors of bitcoin out there, your beloved bitcoin will be exposed for what it really is - a piece of useless data...

Bitcoin is nothing but a vehicle for the launderers out there to pore their fiat dollars into

And that is the crux of the whole thing - crapology has no value...

Bitcoin has lost 90% of its value twice already since 2011 before moving to new highs.  We are now approaching -90% from the last high.

Sh!tcoin, my dear dear friend,

When you argue against Bitcoin, you are by default arguing for the Federal Reserve Note. I am sure you find much merit in the Federal Reserve Note and have many compelling reasons why it is the best form of currency and will never fail. I on the other hand have no idea what those compelling reasons might look like, and this is why I am placing my bets on Bitcoin.

There are zero signs that Bitcoin is failing are will fail in the future. The infrastructure is still functioning and transactions are able to be made and value is able to be stored without the need for a central authority, therefore bitcoin remains as solid an investment today as it did when it was going for $1200.

In the long term, the price is irrelevant, what is really important is the utility. And that is why I am converting as many Federal Reserve Notes I can into Bitcoin. Unless you can give me a compelling reason why Federal Reserve Notes are the superior form of currency and the best way of doing things, then I will continue to convert them into Bitcoin regardless of price fluctuations.

So what is your compelling argument for the superiority of Federal Reserve Notes?

that with USD I can pay ANYTHING I want, ANYWHERE and with Bitcoin you can only buy drugs, hacking tools, fake ids and maybe a t-thirt.
Bitcoin has 6 years since it's online and it has up tp 200K active users ! wake up from your dream.

Can you not buy drugs, hacking tools,  and fake ids with USD?

When I first started buying bitcoin you could literally only use Bitcoin to pay for something another individual person who liked bitcoin would be willing to trade for it. Today you can literally buy anything that Overstock.com sells with bitcoin, anything that Tigerdirect.com sells for bitcoin, anything that new egg.com sells for bitcoin, anything that Microsoft sells for bitcoin, anything that dell sells for bitcoin, Paypal is integrating bitcoin payments and of course there are services like Bitpay that allow ANYTHING i want ANYWHERE to be purchased with bitcoin.

An analogy to what you are doing is someone who 6 years after the internet was invented is arguing that snail mail is more superior to email. For one you don't need to own a computer, most people can't afford computers anyway, let alone how to use them, then you have to get an internet connection with a screaming modem that only runs at dial up speed, so you have to pay for that service every month, then you have to get the email program and figure out how to load it onto your expensive computer you don't know how to use and figure out how to connect to the internet and then once you've done all of that NO BODY ELSE HAS A COMPUTER OR THE INTERNET OR KNOWS HOW TO USE IT!! So who are you going to send your fancy "email" to?Huh Nobody??? YOURSELF!?

Wake up from your dream. The internet was existed for 6 years and nobody uses it. You guys keep up with your propaganda about "emails" I'll continue to put my letters in a real life mailbox! It s so funny. : )

^^^ that's basically what i hear when you talk.

For this argument to be compelling you would have to demonstrate a reasonable justification to assume that the number of sellers who accept bitcoin will not continue to increase and the ability to use bitcoin as a consumer will not continue to become easier. Unless you can provide a good reason why the trend will stop, then you are just blowing smoke.

In fact, my guess is not that you can provide any compelling reason why the number sellers who accept bitcoin will not increase and why the ability to use bitcoin as a consumer will not continue to become easier, but rather that you are attempting to actively work against these things occurring. You don't want bitcoin to succeed, and so you post negativity and implant negativity as often and as many places as you can, to actively work against it's inevitable success. Yet I haven't the slightest idea why you would want to do so…

The only possible explanation is both a complete ignorance of what the Federal Reserve is and how it works and also a complete ignorance of what Bitcoin is and how it works. One is a cancer and the other is a cure. You are fighting the cure and protecting the cancer.

When you speak of buying goods with bitcoins you are actually using federal reserve notes to pay for your goods - your junk bitcoin looks like this = 111100001110000111 what you are using to pay for goods look like this $$$$$$

Your precious bitcoin is nothing but an account number for all the crackheads to put fiat dollars into

In fact, my guess is not that you can provide any compelling reason why the number sellers who accept bitcoin will not increase and why the ability to use bitcoin as a consumer will not continue to become easier

Another illussion - Sellers are exchanging goods for dollars not bitcoin, your bitcoin is junk, they want the fiat money your bitcoin holds

Another illussion - Sellers are exchanging goods for dollars not bitcoin, your bitcoin is junk, they want the fiat money your bitcoin holds

WAKE UP CRACKHEADS

Not only are you delusional you are totally retarded to even try and post a fake argument like that

smoke weed / crack kills brain cells

You know what, you're right. I didn't expect such a good argument. Bitcoin is stupid, Federal Reserve Notes are the tried and true method. Surely the ability for a private bank to print money out of thin air is the best possible form of currency. Surely inflation will not reach a point that makes paper money worthless at any point in the future. I like having to trust a central authority. I like handing power over to the few elite who control the Federal Reserve. Yes the dollar has lost 98% of it's value since it was created and yes this is because dollars are created out of thin air by the trillions upon trillions by the Federal Reserve whenever they feel like it but I have seen the light thanks to you! My precious bitcoin looks like this 11100011110001111000, and fiat money looks like this $$$$$$. Why didn't I think of that before? I have been living in a delusion! Federal Reserve Notes are the answer after all!

Thank you sh!tcoin for your valuable insights.

Apparently so. These kinds of threads tend to get a lot of attention and have a lot of funny meams, despite the OP having no clue what he is talking about (as in this case)

HOLY CRAP.

All these years of development, VC pouring millions in, the whitepapers, all of it... it was all just a big waste!  Thank God we found out now rather than later.
If this person hadn't come along and told us, this nonsense might have gone unchecked for decades... centuries even.

"Your piece of junk is as corrupt as the system you purportedly tried to fix"

I'm not interested in your spin... save it for the crackheads willing to buy your junk

Steal from the rich - give to the poor.  Is that what gets you crackheads up every morning?

What a bunch of losers, you bitcoiners are no better than the fiat bankers who print money out of thin air...

It only takes one failure to prove the whole bitcoin industry is a hoax, and there have been plenty of failures...

The only interested parties in bitcoin are pirates. crackheads and mafia not to mention the weak economies that allow you crackheads to get away with it...

You make me wanna puke

Wired is very interested http://www.wired.com/2015/01/price-bitcoin-doesnt-matter-right-now/

As well as everyone else who is working on the underlying technology, and the people who invested $500 million in bitcoin startups last year, none of which was for pirates, crackheads or the mafia as far as I know  Cheesy

People were saying bitcoin was dead when it went from $30 to $3 a few years ago too so I've heard.

"Your piece of junk is as corrupt as the system you purportedly tried to fix"

How so? If bitcoin is corrupt I will immediately stop investing in it. I have not the slightest idea how bitcoin could be corrupt, if you know something I don't then please enlighten me so I can stop investing into a corrupt system.

Quote
I'm not interested in your spin... save it for the crackheads willing to buy your junk

I'm not selling anything… I'm just buying.  Grin

Quote
You crackheads claiming to be the saviors of the global financial universe... Delusional - you have been exposed and the backlash will get bigger

If you have reason to believe that the Federal Reserve Note is superior then by all means give your reasons. You are not offering any solutions, you are merely spitting on the one viable attempt at a solution that exists.

Quote
Steal from the rich - give to the poor.  Is that what gets you crackheads up every morning?

I don't think anybody here is stealing from anybody, we are just buying and using bitcoins instead of Federal Reserve Notes. But giving to the poor may indeed be a good reason to get up every morning.

Quote
You are swallowed up in the same system and you are using it to make yourself rich…

I am investing in a solution to the current system which I perceive to be broken. If I get rich it is a fortunate by-product of being an early investor in a superior solution to the current system.

Quote
You bunch of crackhead hypocrites…

A hypocrite is someone who acts in contradiction to his or her stated beliefs or feelings. I would be a hypocrite if I stated that Federal Reserve Notes are corrupt yet made no attempt to use an alternative. I support bitcoin so as not to be a hypocrite.

With a profile name like that I think it would be funny if a new announcement thread appears in the altcoin forums with "[ANN] Official Sh1tcoin101 announcement thread"

Is this why we all read this forum. To look at disgusting pictures? That's what youtube is for!

Is the thread title about the thread itself?

Hehe!  Right you are.

Holy hell, you guys are right!  It's a thread within a thread...

It's a Hypercube disguised as a thread! I thought I smelled the dirty hand of the occult overlords at work!

All of my posts are simply statements of my own personal opinions based on available information and pondering what might be possible considering human nature, with the goal of finding truth and preventing fraud. Please look at all of the facts and theories and put your thinking cap on to draw your own conclusions. Topics like this appear only while price plumets for a while ; )
Be strong, be coin!

The problem is... they are pretty common these days.  Smiley

Very true, even in the Newbie section, everybody is panicking, or trolling about "It is the end of Bitcoin forever!!"

Why don't you knuckleheads do the right thing and kill bitcoin off altogether - do the world a favor...

Your piece of crap is a funding tool for terrorist, money launderers and crackheads...

And stop fkn denying it...

PS - If you don't kill it off - the bad press will - bitcoin isn't exactly a blue-chip stock like most of the fools are claiming

From what I know, many local businesses are starting to accept bitcoin, so therefore your statement about the "funding tool" is invalid.

The "piece of crap" you call bitcoin is a work of ingenuity.

I'm not denying, I only own 0.00008 bitcoin. I don't plan on making it a "get rich quick" scheme, nothing in this world is free. I'm investing in something I believe in.

Bad press has hit bitcoin many a time, though it has always survived.

OP is the definition of butthurt. If you can't hold an asset for more than 5 years with a straight face investing is not for you.
