We have only one winner this time!

The new wall is consecutively placed from 7.17$ to 7.30$. Therefore all votes for "< or = 7.2" and "< or = 7.3" win.
In this case only one lucky winner has voted correctly. Pls PM me to claim your prize!

Next round starts, when walls disappear. Stay tuned.

a puny 20k ask wall is going to be overwhelmed by the tsunami that just hit the mountain!!!  Is it one buyer or a couple?  I'd guess a few, because what's the point really of having a penny difference?  If you wanted to spread out your wall to hide your interest, you'd do it with a larger spread, finer grain and maybe tweak the # amount a bit...

Maybe its two, but not more. One that killed the ASK wall and the other one that placed the BID one. I still believe it is only one buyer, because of the timely manner it all took place. To put those walls up manually on the MtGox interface would require just that amount of time spent to do it.
What is the advantage to place them some cents apart? You could place different alarms, set to the corresponding prices for either an alarm clock like this one: http://www.bitcoin-tools.de/index.html
or for some trading bots.

Maybe it isn't meant to be inconspicuous. Maybe he wants to trigger panic. Maybe he wants you to think he actually wants to buy MOAR.
An unproven fact could be that this one (1) guy is responsible for all of the wall shuffling over the past few days.
He is the market maker, and we are along for the ride.  Wink

Its hard to believe only one guy had the bright idea of buying big

If he is the market maker, then he is making alot of unnecessary efforts, because hes basically up against himself in such scenario, building walls, tearing them down only start anew, like a lonely kid in a sandbox building sand castles. I doubt it.

Real demand, yeah!  Roll Eyes

I guess 'they' all had the same idea to remove 'their' orders.

Maybe not that lonely. The new asks up to $8 could've been other's, and he took down 30k of the 40k bids in response.

Whoever it is, he/they are certainly having fun.
