11.4GB now.
Always growing, but no problem, memory and HDD is cheap.

You might want to look into SPV - it is very likely that in the next major version (or the one after) the standard Satoshi client will be able to be configured in a way that you can choose how much space it should use (within minimal limits).

With CIYAM anyone can create 100% generated C++ web applications in literally minutes.

At this rate, 20 GB will be in 2015 or 2014.  Someone bringing a new full client online could take days - header only clients will increase in popularity as the block chain grows.

At least the rate of growth seems to be constant.

yes, there has to be a solution for this someday because its to big in some years, even when the internet is faster .....but there are some ideas already for this problem and iam pretty optimistic Smiley
