Ever since I figured out all this silly karma stuff, I became happy (truly happy) for the first time, defeated my depression.  I lost weight, felt healthier and looked better than ever before, in a minute time period.  I found real friends that I connect to, I fell in love, I started playing guitar and I'm now financially stable.  I solved most all my problems.  Say what you want, believe what you want, but all this shit happened, this year, because I started thinking positively, acting out of my conscious, love.

You're not financially stable!  Man, take a basic accounting course.

Once you spend the money you were allegedly given, new money does not appear to take its place.

I overcame depression and lost weight as well (feeling and looking healthier comes from that) but I'm not so stupid as to think it's an invisible force no one has ever measured.

I did all those things because I had a goal.

mlawrence, you could just say everything I write is false, I never found happiness, I don't believe in god, I never fell in love and I'm just a malicious scammer with a highly complicated scheme to convince people otherwise.  Or I could just be telling the truth, which do you see being more probable?

You refuse to identify yourself.
You refuse to identify how you make money
You run a ponzi scheme.

It's more probable you are lying to scam people.  Your plan is not complicated once you understand that most of what you say is false.

Well, you must know my finances and investments better than me, don't you?

I provided ID to two people, senbonzakura and Eisenhower, to whom I paid back 27 BTC, today.  Dank Bank isn't a ponzi, seriously, with 8 clients, 3 active clients?  Two of which will be receiving their principle back this week, early.

Your plan is not complicated once you understand that most of what you say is false.
Except everything I say is true.

Except that it's not.  There is no such thing as karma, which we will prove end of December.  You won't be throwing any kind of concert, you won't be opening any kind of lounge, and you won't become proficient at any kind of musical instrument.

Nothing you say is true.

From wiktionary for Bank: "1.An institution where one can place and borrow money and take care of financial affairs."

Other than letting people donate money to you, what other financial services do you offer?

When are you going to start giving out loans?

Rep, I'd say it's still, technically, a donation.

When you start relying on "technicalities", you appear like you're being intentionally deceptive.  Given that you're constantly rambling on about your honesty and integrity - and it's the only "collateral" you're offering - that's not a good thing.

Nobody would bat an eyelid if you said that your parents help support you.  That's absolutely normal when young adults move out of home for the first time.  But that's totally different from someone giving you a "donation" towards a project and you lose credibility if you try to portray it as such, just as you lose credibility if you maintain that you're doing fine from Dank Bank and your investments but you actually need your parents to help you out in order to keep your head above water.

All I can say is that this is Bitcoin. I don't believe it until I see six confirmations.

I was actually looking for someone yesterday to loan a small amount of BTC to, interest free.

You're getting caught up on a catchy name, not everything has to be uniform.

Rep, my parents donated near $2k to me, they didn't have to and they didn't want to for a while.  I'd say that falls under this definition, as a donation, here: an act or instance of presenting something as a gift, grant, or contribution.

dank, for my peace of mind as a parent, can you take a good look at that mystery cheque you received and make sure that it's not one of those loan company cheques?  They're illegal where I live, but I read a lot of reports about young people in the US getting scammed by them.

Why were your parents reluctant to give you money and what changed their mind?  Were you in danger of not being able to pay the rent or not being able to eat if they didn't give you money?  If you needed money from them now, are you going to need to rely on money from them in the future?

All I can say is that this is Bitcoin. I don't believe it until I see six confirmations.

Yes, they were reluctant because they feared that I wouldn't be able to handle it myself, even though I've been doing so, fine.  I didn't need it, but I asked for their support, one last time.  They still don't 'get it,' but they have a higher understanding of my perspective, as I, eventually, got through to them.

It sounds like you did need their support, given that you don't have a fixed income stream and that you had lenders due for repayment.  Without the mystery cheque and the money from your parents, it sounds like you would have been screwed.  Those things might buy you some time, but the $4200 you now have on hand won't last forever so you need to use it wisely.

Don't be too proud to go back home if things don't work out as you hope they will.  It's better than accumulating a whole lot of debt for unpaid rent, unpaid utilities, etc.  Plenty of people take a few attempts at independence before they can fully stand on their own two feet - you learn something from every attempt.

All I can say is that this is Bitcoin. I don't believe it until I see six confirmations.

I did not need it, money is not a necessity, by any means.  This is all I needed from them, this is the most financially stable I've been and it will only get better, down the road.  As I said, the more people that understand my philosophy, the more people that support it.  Understanding can be stronger than knowledge, considering we know very little.

See, fgervais, if you haven't realize, you're only judging people.  How can you call someone a loser if you don't know them, in fact how can you call a group of people, that you don't know, losers?

Most people I know don't have a damn clue what they want to learn out of college and mainly want it for the social experience.

Hell yeah I'm judging, it's a long time hobby of mine of pointing and laughing at stupid people on the internet. Also, in your case, I'd be tempted to say something about throwing rocks and glass houses as far as judging goes.

Bear, or just use the internet.  I'm not looking for detailed knowledge of quantum physics, a general understanding of it is all I need to relate it to other aspects of life, which I feel I have.

You see, the reasons why schools haven't suddenly disappeared after the internet are a) the amount of senseless shit on the internet vastly outweighs the sensible stuff (ie: this thread), b) surrounding yourself of teachers is still better to help you understand stuff than cherry picking other internet crazies as far as referential authority goes.

Well, you must know my finances and investments better than me, don't you?

This sequence of messages is just funny when you place them next to each other...

Rep, my parents donated near $2k to me, they didn't have to and they didn't want to for a while.  I'd say that falls under this definition, as a donation, here: an act or instance of presenting something as a gift, grant, or contribution.

DankBank: Underwritten by my parents!

Rep, I'd say it's still, technically, a donation.  I'd also say working to become a globally renowned musician, in a few months, is a bit more than navel-gazing.

Have you shared this with your parents? How about your financial shenanigans online? Bar? Driving under the influence, speeding? The rest?

Yes, they were reluctant because they feared that I wouldn't be able to handle it myself, even though I've been doing so, fine.  I didn't need it, but I asked for their support, one last time.  They still don't 'get it,' but they have a higher understanding of my perspective, as I, eventually, got through to them.

I'd have sympathy for the hell you must've put them through with your delusions, but then again, your prude of a mom should have just taken your dad up the ass that night, so karma.

Believe it or not dank, your parents have experienced being a teenager with dreams.  Their dreams might have been different to yours, but they were just as important to them as yours are to you.  You might want to ask them some day about what happened to those dreams and what they'd do differently if they knew then what they know now.

All I can say is that this is Bitcoin. I don't believe it until I see six confirmations.

Looks like someone is loosing his zen. Nice of you to admit their deception in you, angst of knowing their prude ways produced... whatever you are.

Of course, once again, your obliviousness and self-centred nature shines through: my parents are the only ones at fault for going through hell, the fact that I go through life like a hobo shouldn't influence them, they made the choice to care.

Fellate a shotgun.

I'd wager money that what happened was an undesired child. *cough*
