Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

Okay I have notified NovaExchange, now is probably a good time to contact Nova and see if you can get iCoin listed on there.

We need to start moving this coin forward. I know you guys are not coders, however there is a ton of other stuff that could be done whilst finding a coder to work with you guys.

Just my thoughts, don't want to offend anyone.

iCoin forever.....

Hi HvSch,
What does it mean you are stuck? Are you able to give us transaction ID?

If someone is willing to finish the iCoin website i'd be willing to pay 25k iCoin

That's if nobody is doing it already.

Did you create http://www.icoin.world/   Sinpey?

tottyt

Hi tottyt,
icoin.world is owned by jofo. He offered his support. I'm also working on some website including blockchain explorer, but I'll follow your approach and pay additional 25k ICN

Hey Sinpey

That's great news. We just need someone who is willing to get the job finished now....

iCoin has a great future, we just need to build the community, improve the technology and market the hell out of it. When we can prove that all these strategies are being implemented that's when big exchanges like Bittrex will consider adding iCoin. Bittrex do not charge either  Wink

It is way under valued at the moment, but I am hopeful for the future.

Hello Gradys225,

    I understand the confusion with iCoin (ICN) and the new squatter at our old website.
    As far as I know, we have nothing to do when them.

    ICN has been traded at YObit.net for a while, though I don't believe they're permitting withdrawals presently.

Hi Grady.

XIN is not the real iCoin ICN which is traded on yobit is the right coin. XIN are trying to copy iCoin but seem like they are not succeeding as there is only one iCoin and thats ICN.

current buy price is at;  1 ICN = 0.00000133 BTC

I recently found my old iCoin wallet. There is still a bit in it so I tried making some transactions. The wallet syncs fine but the transactions do not get verified. I'm certainly no expert (and for some time didn't do anything with digital currencies) so some help would be appreciated!
Sorry for my very late reply about the coins to arriving at the adress. Here's the Transaction ID:
316225593bb36f7cc5010fcb2af4072a4cca3f49d1754a5514383386382325ed

Hi HvSch,

    1.) Given the txid we can do this.

Quote
icoind getrawtransaction 316225593bb36f7cc5010fcb2af4072a4cca3f49d1754a5514383386382325ed

    2.) Then with the resulting output we can do this.

Code:
icoind decoderawtransaction 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

    3.) When we decode it we end up with this output (vout).

Quote
    "vout" : [
        {
            "value" : 20000.00000000,
            "n" : 0,
            "scriptPubKey" : {
                "asm" : "OP_DUP OP_HASH160 91bba83b0e0c29b6895ab41fdc28eeffd89e5922 OP_EQUALVERIFY OP_CHECKSIG",
                "hex" : "76a91491bba83b0e0c29b6895ab41fdc28eeffd89e592288ac",
                "reqSigs" : 1,
                "type" : "pubkeyhash",
                "addresses" : [
                    "Bh5FPHbXYTCa9N6Z4jSupwbwJFtYB6A4UH"
                ]
            }
        }
    ]

    So, it looks like the payout was for 20K ICN to Bh5FPHbXYTCa9N6Z4jSupwbwJFtYB6A4UH.

    If you're not seeing them in your wallet (and if Bh5FPHbXYTCa9N6Z4jSupwbwJFtYB6A4UH is one of your addresses), first make a backup of your wallet.dat and then pass these arguments to your coin daemon when you start iCoin.

        -checklevel=6 -checkblocks=0 -rescan -upgradewallet

    The above arguments do the following:

        How thorough the block verification is (0-6, default: 1)
        -checklevel=<n>

        How many blocks to check at startup (default: 2500, 0 = all)
        -checkblocks=<n>

        Rescan the block chain for missing wallet transactions
        -rescan

        Upgrade wallet to latest format
        -upgradewallet

    As long as you're using the right wallet.dat file, after this *LONG* startup finishes you should see the new funds in your wallet.

    Here are some fresh addnode entries for the masses.

Hey guys,

there's lots of rubbish coins on exchanges, for example; Half Moon on Nova exchange. Do you think that they will list iCoin on there? Also some coins have got on there without any voting. I have been researching other altcoin threads.

Do you think its time to try and give iCoin a push and get it listed too??? Let me know your thoughts

Just mine solo, hashrate is so low that you don't need a pool.

Hey you guys,

You need to get a team together and work on some blockchain tech like stratis, ethereum, waves etc. I think iCoin could push the boundaries and come up with some groundbreaking game changing tech.

It seems people are still keen to see this work, I know I am. So do you have any future plans, any whitepaper or Road Map etc.

Be nice to know what, if any, you have planned for iCoin.

Hey WenWen,

I think they need developers and such, as the original dev premined and dumped then left.... However I do believe that there is some folk left assisting with this coin but I know they posted a while back that they work full time and can only dedicate so much time to iCoin.

So if you know anybody willing to help please let them know as this coin could be huge.

I have taken all my coin out of iCoin now but will gladly reinvest if I knew what was going on.
