That was notsofast on twitter. Difficulty fluctuated around 20-200 (even peaked at 300-400) in the last few days. If you were there on day 1 during the 2k blocks and could mine on low diff than yes, mining was cheap. Not anymore though.

Edit: still worth it if you can find some low diff blocks. Rented miners come and go.

Yes, but at day 1 this thread looks very ugly and non miner joined the 2k block, or at least only a few and there were no big hashrato on.
So,probably it was a move from the team no not have hasrate raped at beginning.
