Paul Buitink, Professor at the Department of Economics at the Universidad San Francisco, Quito, Ecuador and marketing manager for the Dutch Clevercoin exchange, strongly feels that the government should not be involved when it comes to money creation. In fact, Mr. Buitink also believes that we should not try to keep the current monetary system in tact either.

Not sure how I feel about this. I guess I'm on the fence about whether or not they should be involved in some form, but I don't think the current way the monetary system works (if you can call it that) is fair or ran the right way, but I fear some sort of involvement would always be inevitable. It's not like they're ever going to willingly give up their power any way.
