Not sure if this wasn't posted here (search is down) but someone tried to launder 400 000 PLN, which roughly equals 100 000 USD using Polish exchange Bitmaszyna. He managed to buy unknown sum of BTC using illegal funds and in result bank account of some bitcoin sellers are blocked  Angry

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

it will have as result that all the polish banks will avoid customers who are dealing with Bitcoin Smiley

I was unable to find this exact information, but I suppose the answer is yes  Angry
If he wouldn't I'm sure that exchange owner would comfort his customers that their bitcoins are safe which he didn't  Undecided

Well that's unfortunate to hear. I hope the authorities solve the mess for the others as soon as possible.
