Hi,  I thought it could be set to 250 confirmations instead of 5000

I think that other pool got some donations so they would have some coins on hand to make payouts while waiting for the mined blocks to resupply the coins on hand.

I see now, thanks for the info.

I think that it is 90 days min stake and POS generated coins mature after 30 blocks before they can be spent. I'm not 100% sure of the POS rate.  That info should be added to the OP.

Yes I agree. The stake is 100%. This is something we discovered when we all were opening our wallets for the first time. When this coin came out staking was very experimental and INCA was a proof of concept. Its a happy accident Cheesy

For having a 250 confirmation a pool needs about 2.500.000 NKA, otherwise there are not enought coins for anticipate a payout. My pool start with 5000 confirmation and as soon as fees arrived, I start to decrease weeks by weeks the confirmations of 50/100.
I get some great donations that has helped a lot in lowing the confirmations to actual 250 (it is a safe area, it could be down to 50 actually)

POS mining needs even 5000 confirmations.

Now that there is another pool, I can in the weekend start with a fresh new wallet.

This is a common task for a pool for speedup daemon startup, but with a normal coin all is done in 1h, while with this it needs 3 days to full complete!

To answer about pool neetwoork speed, it is 1Gb/s.
The problem is the NKA resource it takes to run (I suspect, but actually I have not a confirmation, that it depens from the version of DB library used, as this comes with another coin so far):

NKA daemon: average processor usage from 80% to 120% (it is a double core), memory from 40% to 50%
other coins: average processor usage from 1% to 5%, memory 2% to 4%

With other SHA256 coin I get about 50 active miners without problem so far with this server.

The fresh wallet is installed in pool, and memory/cpu usage drops to half the value of before (still high for a coin throw).

Confirmations restored to 5000 for now, but they will be reduced to 250 in next ours as soon as I can move coins from old to new wallet. Sorry for that. Thanks

hi,

the windows executable version is missing the console daemon, there is only the qt-wallet.
Is there possible to have the daemon too (unfortunately the linux version did not run in Fedora)?

I have just a confirmation that over 300.000 wallet transactions was the main cause of network problems, but now that I'm using the offline qt wallet to transfer money from old to new wallet, I get the Pc with 100% cpu usage (from 5 hours) and I'm still not able to insert the address for sending money (with a daemon I can send money throw console and so it should be fast).

In pool confirmations are again 250 but payout disable as setting again 5000 confimation make MPOS to reopen already payed blocks to pay them again! Payout could be activate as soon as I'm able to transfer the money (I have even start another instance into the server to open the old wallet, but it is now downloading all the blockchain from 0 so it will takes age to finish)
