Diceoncrack and another gambling site will be accepting bbq soon. Should be able to get it listed on an exchange now.

Nothing solid is decided or agreed on yet, still in a preparation stage and in progress to get things confirmed.

Are you in talks with btc-e or another exchange like vircurex? I've always wondered how new coins transition from being mine-only to suddenly popping up on exchanges.
Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

It's a copycat of litecoin and was 51% attacked by litecoin fans presumably at its launch.
1 minute block, 1 hour difficulty adjustment
42 coins per block.
4.2 billion coins cap.

Interesting. Shame it was 51% attacked, let the free market forces decide is what I say. That said it's a cheap clone so I can't see it gaining traction regardless... particularly with a playful name like BBQCoin.

I'm working on a new cosmetic compile of the client first off with Figroll in the design department.

Then its working with an exchange and letting them know that there is increased interest in this coin again.

The bbqcoin forum gets around a new member a day now, the more interest, the greater the chance of getting this on an exchange.

I think it's time BQC came of age as the coin you want to eat.

So I will offer to have 1 pizza or $20 worth of bbq food delivered to the address of your choice for 100,000 BBQC.  Obviously, the delivery address must be near a place that delivers pizzas or BBQ and accepts credit card phone or web orders.

Tip is your responsibility.

Has anyone been cooking here while all of the LTC frenzy is going on?

Is there any major updates in LTC that we should reflect to the latest development version of BQC?

The difficulty and hashrate is too low, so, I don't think that BQC will have any pool soon...

No need for a pool right now, but that doesn't mean it can't be done. Even the slowest CPUs could participate on this in that case.

What's the difficulty at?  I installed the client a few days ago but was taking ages to download the blockchain.
