Nonsense.
Value of LTC is now 0.02xxx BTC, value of NMC is now 0.04xxx BTC,

Nothing wrong with a 0.001xxx value for BQC, it's actually very low for an (currently) ASIC proof Scryptcoin.

Oh really then put the money where your mouth is and buy BQC at 1k/BTC from me.

Whoever that is buying BQC at those prices please contact me for sales. If you have to throw away your money like that I have no problem of taking it either.

Just so everybody's client are the same are you all downloading it from bbqcoin.org?

Self compiling and downloading other compiles can be what causes problems.

The next updated release will also be posted at this site too, for future reference.

Is anyone able to solo mine this coin with a low hash rate, e.g., 1 GPU?

I can run the client, and point cgminer to it successfully, but everytime cgminer reports an accepted share, the client drops all 8 peer connections for a minute (they slowly return).  No transaction ever shows up on the client.  This has happened maybe a dozen times.

I guess I'm giving up on this coin.

The hash rate has increased a lot in the past couple days, so you may want to wait until there is a pool which should hopefully be soon.

yes, I do the same, have you tried other coins to solo mine before ?

Checked last night and difficulty was in the 0.2x range already...that's like a 10000x increase in just a few days, lol.  Think I'm gonna cool off on the mining for a while.

I would like to buy 10k BBQCoins for 0,1 BTC if at all possible.
I saw on the BBQcoin.org forum that the rate was 100K for 0,5BTC so i think double that is a good price. Wink
PM me if interested.

The problem you're going to find, is that this coin has started to get alot of attention lately.  And there are pretty strong rumors that it is going to be added to an exchange soon.  Couple that information with the fact that difficulty is skyrocketing, and you'll find most people are simply hoarding this coin for a major price increase.  (I know I am  Grin )

Charlie Kelly: I'm pleading the 5th.  The Attorney: I would advise you do that.  Charlie Kelly: I'll take that advice under cooperation, alright? Now, let's say you and I go toe-to-toe on bird law and see who comes out the victor?  The Attorney: You know, I don't think I'm going to do anything close to that and I can clearly see you know nothing about the law.

I know a lot of people who picked up BBQcoins when they were under the radar, so if anyone wants to pick up a million I expect I could get hold of such a quantity for as low as only 500 bitcoins. Quick, do it now, before they get on board "BBQcoin is going to skyrocket" train...

RBCex is pleased to be the first (I think) exchange supporting BBQcoin.  Come trade your BQCs for BTE, TRC, BTC, LTC.

I'm eager to get some BQCs, and if anyone is feeling generous, I'd love to have some at bGF2K6tMmfHRi2wuNKq38u6z9mYc2zCBYb

Trading section for BBQcoin at the bbqcoin.org forum

I think these "buy" orders need to be a little bit more realistic and with the general crypto market having just had a big shake-up/mini crash, I think that the future worth of any coin right now is debatable.

If people are mining BQC to eventually trade them at some point then setting a ridiculous buy order price will just hinder your efforts instead of helping them.

The worth of a coin has to be proven and cannot be done with random buy orders.

The trade section of the bbqcoin.org forum is going to be revamped and designed to reflect a more in line trading, not to be dictated by me but to keep down the unrealistic orders.
