I believe so, but it looks like it's starting to crack under the stress.

From what it's reporting

Net Hashrate: 47988.81 KH/s  Huh
Pool Hashrate: 71950.96 KH/s Huh

Current Round Shares
Pool Valid: -728444  ??

and then then number one miner has 40,410 KH/s

which over half the pool hash rate by himself.  Grin

Ya I've been mining there for about a week or so now. But with everything getting wonky I was hoping there was another one Sad

The pool I'm on seems to be having all sorts of odd issues.  I'm not sure how often the difficulty adjusts but it was .7 something and now its .8 something.

Maybe more people probably started mining with the difficulty drop, resulting in those stale shares??

What operating system are you on? Just google "solo mining guide"+your operating system or use the search function. there are very comprehensible guides.

The config file you have to create for BBQcoin should be called bbqcoin.config and look like this:

rpcuser=username
rpcpassword=password
rpcport=59332
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
rpcallowip=*
daemon=1
server=1
gen=0

The rest is the same as in every other guide for every other coin.

.config ? Really? Not, for example, .conf like in many/most other coins?

(I do not use config files myself except for multicoin based coins so I don't actually really know offhand, I put everything on the commandline in a shell script.)

Nice logos. Can you put the flame on top of the BQC lettering with the grill coin?

It is starting to look like the number of BBQcoins that will be frozen into the cold-vaults so that digiBBQcoin tokens can be issued on the Digitalis Open Transactions server is going to be five million BBQcoins.

Since a lot of the point of freezing assets into cold-vaults when issuing tokens to represent them in the server is that such frozen assets need never leave the cold storage as long as there is expected to be some use found for the tokens, that would result in a nice round five million BBQcoins being held out of blockchain-circulation for pretty much as long as there is any foreseeable need or use for digiBBQcoins, which in turn of course should be pretty much as long as there is any foreseeable need or use for actual BBQcoins.

Which hopefully will be a long long time. Smiley
