He is doing this since last year to different websites. He is asking for anything between 1 - 2 BTC. I think this year he should disappear one way or another. It gets annoying.

It was a distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attack. Most of their machines are in the US but I can see some in Spain and Malaysia so maybe they are using infected computers. The other option is that they are a bunch of idiots from all around the world.   I'll keep you posted.

You would be surprised but we have such people already. I am not sure where they are from but my guess is Malaysia and Turkey.
In some countries $40 is a weekly salary.

Yeah you are right. I wasn't thinking of the 3rd world countries where $1 a day is a lavish lifestyle in certain countries. I played a few days I was off work every tourney of the day. I could see the same ones over and over. I know it was them cause they spoke the same language with each other. So it had to be the same ppl over and over. And I can see people playing a day or 2 everyday when they are off work in the tourneys, but they's always some that think they can take advantage of everything and ruin it for all.

DDoS stands for distributed denial of service. In this kind of attack many machines are contacting your server till it stops responding.
