Found this on Bitmit just now:

http://www.bitmit.net/en/trade/i/3852-house-of-stone-and-6000m2/description

Pretty awesome! It's a shame the auction expires in a few hours, doesn't look like this one'll get sold.

Nice!  Bitcoin is an excellent settlement currency for real estate purchases, too.

I have always been tempted to buy a cheap property in a US city, and then auction it on bitmit.

Do we have any record of the "first" actual sale of real estate with bitcoin. Has it even happened yet? That'd be a pretty big milestone.

Thats cool but could be just a couple of images and with non reversable transaction you would have to be an fool to buy it. But when Bitcoin gets two part escrow, that would work.

It's so nice...

Bitmit offers escrow built in, and it's enabled.

I'm curious to know where it is.  My Spanish isn't that great.  But it looks like it says near the río Troja, and 30 miles from a beach?

Some houses in Detroit are listed for under US$ 1000.  Or Braddock, PA under US$ 10,000.

Buy one, list it on bitmit, see how much the "first bitcoin house sold" fetches.

The village is mentioned as "La Sota", which I've found belongs to the municipality of San Pedro del Romeral in Cantabria (Santander).

The coolest part of it is the finca and not that broken house. JUST LOOK AT THAT GODDAMN CREEK.
So nice.

Con poste de la luz a 10m de la casa y poste de teléfonos también.

It seems like electricity and phone are nearby.
