So, if I've understood correctly, we should get:
(25 BTC + block fees - 2% fee) * (shares found by user's workers) / (total shares in current round)

... although it's a bit more complex because shares can be old/stale. But typically the above is about right, right?

So when I get 338/6146035632 I get 0.00000118 - sounds OK.

But when I get 0/8540645283 I get 0.00000005 - a reward for finding no shares... huh?

BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY -
when I get 6741/198100194879 I get NOTHING!!

That seems broken to me...

It has happened twice in consecutive blocks - I also got nothing for 2128/65373512747

Can anyone explain? I'm starting to think I should maybe move...

Are you talking about a pool?  If so which one?  There is no context to your post otherwise.

A: Because it messes up the order in which people normally read text.
Q: Why is top-posting such a bad thing?
A: Top-posting.
Q: What is the most annoying thing on usenet and in e-mail?

Yeah, thanks. I realised what I'd done and tried to delete the post but the system prevented me. I re-posted under Pools with the subject prepended with "Slush's Pool"

Thanks for the heads-up.

Depends of the pool, some have 0% fee.

Well that's better, but it would be best to post in the Slush thread.

I don't use Slush so I'm not sure how it works but I've heard that it is a scored proportional system so your calculations are not exactly proportional to each round solved.

Good Luck.
