cloudmining 101 is a good thread to learn more about cloud mining and be prudent. Just wondering, don't you have any proof that they pay well ? Because the only thing I see about them over the internet is 70% scam and 30%... ads ? Some cloud minings went bankrupt or run with the money. As a result their former clients are now trolling cloud mining threads, calling the whole idea a scam. I don't know if BCS is legit or not, but cloud mining isn't profitable at the moment and there are as many scams as legit operations. The same can be said of most other bitcoin investments.

You will likely not make a mentionable profit, and maybe not even break even because of the difficulty rises. Not worth it IMO.

People who invested in November in cloud mining are getting ROI now and all the revenue they will get from now on is pure profit. Cloud mining is very risky because you are trusting people you don't know but when it goes well, you can profit.

Do you say the same thing about exchanges?

Do you say the same thing about exchanges? If the exchange is not reputable, not transparent and lack basic security features then yes.

Hey there, I would like to invest into bitcoin, any good website to earn good money/btc ?
Actually I've made a profit on hashprofit cloud mining service, but the only down side is that you can't withdraw/sell khs for the next 3 months, well yes, you can, but there will be a 20% fee. Also, stay away from cex.io.

I would be interested just in the range of values, the exact numbers are not needed, if you don't want to. Myself, I am quite sceptical if cloud mining can be profitable at all, if we are talking about the time window up to 6 months, right?

Do you say the same thing about exchanges? Yes, as exchanges should never be used to store money. deposit, trade and then withdraw.

People who invested in November in cloud mining are getting ROI now and all the revenue they will get from now on is pure profit. Cloud mining is very risky because you are trusting people you don't know but when it goes well, you can profit. There were many cloudmining companies which turned out to be a scam and many users have lost their money. Since the BTC price is much lower now, the maintenance fees per gh is much higher than before and profit would be much less. Anyone who wastes money on cloudmining deserves the losses they'll get.
Do you say the same thing about exchanges? If the exchange is not reputable, not transparent and lack basic security features then yes. Every exchanges can get 'hacked', example Bitstamp got their hot wallet hacked which resulted in a massive loss, so did bter. No exchange is safe, always keep your bitcoins within your control.

I would suggest using BTC rather than "investing" in bitcoin. It is not an investment and you are not likely to do anything but loose your money. You buy some bitcoin then spend it online. The way God and Satoshi meant it to be. lol

Personally I'd steer well clear of all cloud mining, if it sounds too good to be true then it's probably a scam.
If in doubt, hodl.

do not enter cloudmining as much as possible and for investing the good thing that you can do is to buy with cash and wait for the price to go up

Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip. Whales are those who keep buying the dip.

I didn't have success investing on BTCJam but I think they added a refund or something in case someone would want to run with your money. Cloudminers are shutting down due to low BTC price, volatility and what now, so at this point I wouldn't recommend them. The maintenance fee is exactly the amount your miners make. If you want to grow your coins, I suggest trading. After you have learned how to do it properly, of course.

I think AMHASH is still an honest alternative if you want to try out cloud mining. It's available on HavelockInvestments. The only thing is: They stopped their payouts until March, because of the Chinese new year. But they're still one of the most trustworthy companies in the cloud mining game, if you ask me!

The most BTCJam does is to send them for arbitration which is seriously the most useless thing to do. Unless you live in the same place as the person, you cannot recover them online. BTCJam is known for allowing scammers to register with fake ID so most of the time, arbitration is useless completely.

I would absolutely suggest trading. Bitcoin hasn't found its bottom yet, nor did it stabilise. You can play off volatility well, but only after doing some research on trading and how it should be done.

Cloud mining is a big big no. Dont ever get lured into that, instead offer your services in the services section and you can start earning some BTC and slowly, as you become a member and full member you can earn a sizeable amount by joinins signature campaigns. Moreover, please google cloud mining scams and you'll come to know the risk.
