Maybe. But perhaps the upcoming supply drop has already been priced into the market.

If you think that's high; some people already cashed in when it was USD30+/btc (http://bitcoincharts.com/charts/ - May or June 2011). And yes, it went up as high as that and it came crashing down. So no, no one will know what will happen to btc.

I would not be surprised if there's a bit of crash in the near term after hitting a solid $10--a drop of a couple dollars at least.
And hours later it drops a buck.

tell me about it, i was watching the forum for a while when BTC was at a steady 4.85-5.15 for about 2 months. Decided to finance a FPGA board from someone on this forum.  The months to follow, BTC skyrocketed up to $9 a coin....and I still owe 210BTC hahaha talk about bad timing
